Allow to rename a document when sending via email
When sending an email allow the user to rename the file before attaching to email.

Let DocuWare write into external database
Since we are already giving DocuWare access to our external databases so it can read the data, why don't you guys let us insert values into those external databases using DocuWare information?
We are currently trying to develop this into our organization but it's giving us a hard time.1 vote -
DocuWare Request ZIP-Datei Pfad Site / Benutzer / Archiv abhängig.
In einem Unternehmen wie unserem mit mehreren Sites, zum Teil auch im Ausland, wäre es aus Datenschutzgründen und DSGVO wünschenswert wenn zumindest für jede Site / Archiv ein Request Pfad für die Zip Dateien erstellt werden kann und nicht wie es jetzt ist ein einziger globaler Pfad. Optimal wäre es, wenn man dies für jedes Archiv einstellen könnte und beim Erstellen eines Requests den entsprechenden Pfad auswählen kann.

Bugs die bekannt sind für ADPS zugänglich machen
Es wäre schön wenn bekannte Bugs in neuen Versionen für ADPS zugänglich wären. Aktuell haben wir einige Kunden auf 7 upgedatet leider wohl zu übereifrig. Nun stellt sich heraus dass es beim Anmelden Bugs gibt (234519). Hätte man diese Info vorher gehabt hätte man die Updates entsprechend steuern können, oder ien Release abwarten. Das Update der DW Systeme ist immer mit Aufwand und Downtime verbunden wie sollen wir unseren Kunden klar machen dass SIe für Bugfix geld bezhalen sollen ein Version Update mit Features können wir argumentieren

Cloud-Testumgebung
Durch das Fehlen eine echten Testumgebung wird man als Docuware Cloud Kunde bei Upgrades immer vor die schwierige Aufgabe gestellt das man die Änderungen/Auswirkungen eines Versions-Upgrades nicht vorab mit den eigenen Prozessen testen kann. Es wird immer gleich die produktive Umgebung geupgraded. Wo durch Probleme nach dem Upgrade unmittelbar im produktiven Betrieb auftreten.
Es wäre wünschenswert das Docuware seinen Cloud Kunden eine Testumgebung zur Verfügung stellt, in der die Upgrades zuerst eingespielt werden, sodas man sorgfältig testen und notwendige Anpassungen planen kann, bevor die produktive Umgebung das Upgrade erhält.

Restore "*Required" Field Errors Back To Webforms
Our DocuWare Cloud instance was recently upgraded to v.7. Since the upgrade, our webforms no longer display errors above the Submit button when *Required fields are incomplete.
In v.7, the descriptive language regarding fields that are incomplete (e.g. "errors") do not appear on webforms. Rather, the "Submit" button remains greyed out and cannot be clicked until the errors are corrected.
Sorry to say, without the helpful errors actually displaying on screen, our users cannot figure out why the Submit button won't light up. One of our webforms is very long and contains many *Required fields. The users simply cannot intuit…
2 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Warum kann man die PDFs mit Anmerkungen nicht mehr alle in eine zip-Datei speichern? War vor dem Update möglich!! Dies macht es wesentlich umständlicher, die Daten an die Buchhaltung zu übergeben!

Add a feature
Add a feature to the DocuWare Administration to block access to the DocuWare system with the .NET API for particular users. Any user who has an account on DocuWare system can get access with API. I would like to have a possibility to block it.

CLOUD: Connect to Outlook Konfiguration mit local data connection nutzen
In der Cloud gibt es ja schon den local data connector. Zudem gibt es auch in der Cloud bei der Konfiguration von einer Connect to Outlook Ablage die Möglichkeit die Felder per SQL-Abfrage auszufüllen. Damit kann man aber meines Wissens nach in der Cloud noch nicht mit arbeiten. Meine Idee wäre hier einfach eine local data connection auszuwählen und somit auch ein Index-Feld füllen zu können.
Bei der Auswahl "DocuWare-Archiv" gab es früher (unter Silverlight) die Möglichkeit die Suchkriterien frei anzugeben. Diese Funktion wurde ja auch rausgenommen. Umso wichtiger ist nun die Funktion mit der local data connection.

Allow "regular" standard select lists in Forms rather than always doing the filtering thing.
When filling out a form, it is now possible to type arbitrary text into select list entry fields. This filtering behavior is not commonly found on webpages and has caused some consistent confusion and frustration for our customers and their clients when forms won't submit.
Not all users of these forms are super savvy, especially for public forms, where users are not familiar with the concept of filtering. They type something in, and say "i'm done with that one" and move on.
Regular drop down lists that you click a choice and that's it should be allowed as an option.…

Add a feature to automatically update the xml files in file cabinet to match database changes
It would be very helpful if .xml files were kept in sync with the DocuWare index database automatically.
As it stands now, if there is database corruption that exists beyond the timeframe of database backups, any index edits can be lost.
This feature would also help future upgrades and data moves from having corrupt or missing index data. We recently discovered a file cabinet with database and xml issues. It was caused by some improper handling of past upgrades. The issues could have been minimized by syncing the xml files with the database.

Briefkorb Klammern & Heften Funktion (erste Seite)
Im Briefkorb sollte die selbe Funktion des Klammern bzw Heftens zur Verfügung stehen wie das Klammern einer archivierten Datei zum Briefkorb.
Es ist nicht praktikabel möglich bei mehreren Dokumenten im Briefkorb zu bestimmen, welches Dokument in welcher Reihenfolge geklammert werden soll.

I would like to be able to make multiple edits within one cabinet (multiple fields) instead of one field at a time.

OR for readout and index fields in Smart Search
Add an OR option to combine readouts and their corresponding index values. That way if any of the OR'd combos were true the search would complete.
Currently we have to create a button for each match of AND'd fields. Sometimes this results in a lot of buttons and search time/user time moving through the buttons to find the match.

Make the transfer of a message to approvers of invoices an automatic feature.
Program the system in a way that once invoices are loaded the approvers receive and email. Also that once the first approver exercises his duty the invoices are automatically forwarded to the next approver.
