Allow selection of location to write temp files for Request container
When creating Request containers, the files are written to the default temp directory for DocuWare. If the Request cabinet is very large, the C:\ drive can fill up and crash. Need to be able to select an alternate location to write the temp files.

More Information In AutoIndex Start/Stop Dialog
The choice for Iterated Records in an AutoIndex job is based on what is most expedient from a processing perspective. Though, when the Processed column provides a count of the iterated records, it is confusing. One wants to know the number of records updated in each data source, not the number of records in a file..

Intelligent Index Überwachung von Stichwortfeldern
Es sollten generell mehr Möglichkeiten bestehen von Intelligent Indexing Felder zu überwachen. Am meisten benötigt wird die Überwachung von Stichwortfeldern. Bislang müssen mehrere Felder befüllt werden und diese im Nachhinein in das Stichwortfeld übertragen werden. Es gibt oft Rechnungen die mehrere Lieferscheinnmmern haben und die gehören eigentlich alle in ein Feld eingetragen damit die spätere Verknüpfung einfacher wird.

Alle Einstellungen beim Archiv-Kopieren übertragen
Derzeit werden über ein normales kopieren nur die Datenbankfelder übernommen.
Beim Weg über den Export und Erstellung einer XML-Datei werden zumindest einige Einstellungen wie Archivprofile etc. übernommen. An dieser Stelle wäre es super, wenn auch die Feldeinstellungen wie z.B. "nicht leer" etc. und alle hinterlegten Auswahllisten mitgenommen werden.1 vote -

Tasks: undo button
It sometimes happen to approve a document in a task too hastily; it would be nice to have an "undo" button to come back to the document in question.

Start applying the Amharic Language in our Docuware OCR Engine
We are currently applying on a big Ethiopian Tender. If we win it then we will be the first DMS suplier in that country and will be opening a gateway to a big potential market in Africa. The Amheric language is required in our OCR engine to win that bid.

Mac OSX compatibility with Desktop Apps is ESSENTIAL. Otherwise, a web-based solution that is not OS specific would work.
Mac OSX compatibility with Desktop Apps is ESSENTIAL. Otherwise, a web-based solution that is not OS specific would work. Our school uses 99.5% Mac OSX. The web capabilities are the only way we can make use of DocuWare. But all features are not available, specifically, Desktop Apps (scanning, printing, etc.) These are the functions that we desperately need.

Workflow Elemente verschieben
Wäre Super wenn, man zum Beispiel alle Elemente des Workflows schnappen könnte, und woanders hinziehen könnte. Dies dient zur besseren Übersicht.

DocuWare Import - Reihenfolge der Papierdokumente
Ein DocuWare Import Job sollte nach der Barcodetrennung bei der Archiv-Direktablage, die ursprüngliche Reihenfolge von einem Papierstapel beibehalten.
Wir haben Fälle, wo es nicht möglich ist nach dem Barcode zu sortieren. Beispielsweise wenn dieser von einem ERP System erzeugt wird und nicht im Zusammenhang mit der Dokumentenreihenfolge steht.

Mark Manually Added Users Not to Delete Automatically
There is a way to automate the revoking of DocuWare group membership, based upon their AD Group Membership. Unfortunately the solution also deletes those manually created accounts, especially all our Administrative service accounts we've created that run our imports, and provide testing users.
What if it was possible to Auto-Delete Users, EXCEPT those you mark not to delete.

wo werden Auswahllisten verwendet ...
In den Docuware Konfigurationen >> Auswahllisten wird über ein kleines Icon angezeigt, ob eine Auswahlliste in einem Dialog verwendet wird. Allerdings werden bei unserem System (V6.10) in Workflows verwendete Auswahllisten hierbei nicht berücksichtigt. Ist ärglicher wenn man eine Auswahlliste entfernt, welche noch in einem Workflow in Verwendung war.

Allow the ability to delete stamps and leave the data in the log.
We have operating procedures that get modified monthly and have to go through an approval process. We are accumulating pages and pages of approval stamps on the end of our procedures. Also, when we check out a document to insert a photo, for example, it pushes the pages down and the stamps stay in place and cover the text of the document. It looks sloppy and unprofessional to auditors and customers. We need a better solution for multiple stamps on documents in file cabinets that use revision control.

Zeitpunkt über E-Mail-Benachrichtung im Workflow per Indexfeld
Es wurde bereits mehrmals erwähnt, dass man E-Mails in Workflows zeitgesteuert versenden können sollte. Jedoch nicht nur über Regeln wie 'täglich', 'monatlich', 'jährlich' oder an einem bestimmten fixen Datum, sondern es sollte auch die Möglichkeit geben, den E-Mail-Versand über ein Indexfeld zu starten.
Soll heißen, wir befüllen beim Archivieren ein Datumsfeld im Dokument, welches in der Zukunft liegt und an diesem Tag soll auch erst die E-Mail versendet werden und nicht bereits, wenn das Dokument abgelegt wird. D.h. das Indexfeld beinhaltet zwar auch einen festen Datumswert, aber in jedem Dokument ein anderes, dient sozusagen als Variable.Bislang konnten wir uns…

wir haben gerade den "usecase", dass wir aus Word mittels dwcontrol-Schriftart diverse Serienbrief-Druck/Archivierungen machen wollen. Nun möchte der Kunde neben diversen anderen Indexwerten nun auch ein Belegdatum (aktuelles Datum) mitgeben - soweit so gut..
in Word kann man ja ein Feld einfügen um dynamisch das aktuelle Datum zu haben, welches aber leider das Anführungszeichen nutzt...Anführungszeichen sind i.V. mit dem Value= "WERT" nicht möglich: siehe unten auf: https://www.docuware.com/support_faq/?solution_id=2941
aber leider in Word nötig um dort das Datum dynamisch hineinzubekommen.Zur Veranschaulichung das Bild im Anhang.
