2. Direct Access to Files Within a Document

   The current version of Docuware relies on PDF file structures but there are a great number of clients that have TIFF and DWTIFF images that are all each treated as a single clipped file in a Document. This creates a big problem for the users who wish to go directly to an image within a file with a large number of pages.

   There are 2 solutions both of which I think need to be applied to Docuware as they both solve multiple problems.

   1: Build a Pre 6 DW document to PDF file conversion workflow. This would allow clients with a very large number of very large documents to define a filter to convert exiting IMAGES to PDF. I have 1 client with 36 million images in there system and a very large number of those document have 1000 pages.

   2: ADD a goto File in the same manner that the GOTO PAGE does. This will allow anyone with a large number of files clipped to jump to a specific file. This will be a useful tool as Docuware gets larger and users continue to clip more and more files together.

   In short, it takes a VERY long time to move from file to file and in a larger document with 1000 files it takes an unacceptable length of time to move about.

   Convert to PDF fixes a great deal of this issue, adding the GOTO FILE function will help as others start to add more and more files to produce documents.

3. bei Rechtsklick auf "Indexeinträge ändern" Beleg im Viewer direkt laden

   Aktuell verhält sich der Webclient so, dass bei Rechtsklick auf die Funktion "Indexeinträge ändern" in einer Listenansicht der zugehörige Beleg nicht automatisch in den Viewer geladen wird. Da man in diesem Fall immer auf Werte aus dem Beleg zurückgreifen möchte, wäre ein automatisches Laden hier aber sehr sinnvoll.

   Momentan muss immer zunächst mit Linksklick der Beleg in den Viewer geladen und anschließend über Rechtsklick die Funktion "Indexeinträge ändern" aufgerufen werden.

   Das vorgeschlagene Verhalten wäre aus unserer Sicht wesentlich logischer.

4. Allow us to create dynamic store dialogues

   I think it would be great if you could allow us to create dynamic store dialogues which could alter their layout depending on the document type chosen (or any other pre defined field for that matter).

   For example, lets define a "key" field of a file cabinet store dialogue and lets say its the "document type" and we also give this a predefined select list. Then we may have many other fields of this cabinet but not all of these other fields may relate to each of the possible document types. It would be very useful and help guide the user when it comes to storing a document if we could specify which fields should be available and/or required when a specific document type is selected.

   Of course if the number of fields and document types is small it would be possible to simply setup a few different store dialogues but if there is more than 10 (which is common) then it simply becomes too messy and cluttered when you click the store button.

   I think it would be great if you could allow us to create dynamic store dialogues which could alter their layout depending on the document type chosen (or any other pre defined field for that matter).

5. stempeln blättern

   Beim aufbringen eines Stempels soll das Blättern innerhalb eines Dokumentes dennoch möglich bleiben. Viele bringen einen Kontierungsstempel auf, doch bei einer Rechnung die auf mehrere Kostenstellen gehen ist es sehr mühsam sich diese Werte zu merken um diese dann gesammelt aufzubringen.

6. WF-Aufgabe mit Trigger

   Manchmal haben wir das Problem, das eine WF-Aufgabe durch ein externes Ereignis/Programm/AIX erledigt werden soll. Folgendes Beispiel: Eine Rechnung landet in der WF-Aufgabe "Rechnung buchen". Die Buchhaltung muss nun die Rechnung in z.b. DATEV buchen und dann in der WF-Aufgabe mit der Auswahl "gebucht" bestätigen. Nun soll aber noch geprüft werden, ob die Rechnung tatsächlich in DATEV gebucht worden ist. Dazu baut man eine weitere WF-Aufgabe "Buchung prüfen" ein und weist diese dem DW-Admin zu. Ein Autoindex würde dann irgendwann ein Abgleich mit Datev durchlaufen und den Status der Rechnung auf "freigegeben" setzen. Die Änderung (Trigger) des Status soll dazu führen, dass die WF-Aufgabe "Buchung prüfen" erfolgreich beendet wird. Eventuell macht es Sinn, diese Trigger pro Entscheidung zu konfigurieren.

9. show open files without documents in Explorer - accommodating structured file plans

   At my institution we have a structure file plan/classification scheme that must be adhered to. Users like using the Explorer View to browse for their documents, and we've currently set it up so that the first folder layer is the file code, with the specific folders belonging to that category displaying "within" it. The issue is that open files with no electronic documents attached to them do not display to the user. We have a work-around by putting a temp file in each newly created folder. Please make these open folders with no documents in them visible!

11. Lock Paperscan so user must delete after upload.

    In a HIPAA environment, once a document has been uploaded to DocuWare is must be deleted from the Mobile Device. Currently this is a user option, and there should be a setting to prevent the user from turning this off, so all documents are deleted after upload.

13. Be able to assign Stamps to only be availalbe for particular Task Lists.

    Sometimes it can get quite confusing when a user has like 10 stamps assigned for a particular file cabinet. It would be nice to be able to assign certain stamps to only be available within a particular task list or index field value. This would eliminate issues where users are applying the wrong stamps at various stages of the Task List workflow .

    For example, if a document is in the "Pending Approval" Task list, only show the Approved and Rejected stamp, rather than all 10 stamps assigned for this workflow.

14. Dokumentenname beim Scannen eingeben

    Es sollte bei den DocuWare Desktop Apps die Möglichkeit geben einen Dateinamen schon direkt in der Scannoberfläche eingeben zu können. Derzeit heißen die Dokumente immer "Scan - Standard-Briefkorb #001". Wenn man viele Dokumente nacheinander scannt sorgt dies allerdings dafür, dass man viele Dokumente mit dem gleichen Namen im Briefkorb vorfindet und sie erst wieder zuordnen muss.
    Könnte man direkt nach dem Scannen für jedes Dokument einen Dateinamen eingeben und anschließend erst den "Hochladen"- Button drücken hätte man bedeutend mehr Ordnung im Briefkorb. Außerdem muss man dann den Namen in dem Feld mit der Eigenschaft "Dokumentenname" nicht noch beim Ablegen nacherfassen.

16. Send email to the partner contact when 80% of the Intelling credit is reached

    Right now only the customer contact receives an English message when 80% of Intelligent Indexing credit is used

    The message should be in the langage configured in the portal and more important a copy should be send to the partner. So the partner could act before 100% of the limit is reached.

18. Move the scrollbar to the right so that I can select if when moving mouse to the edge of the screen

    Hello,

    In the search results, the scroll bar is just a few pixels from the edge of the screen. This means that when I move my mouse to the edge, the scroll bar isn't highlighted, so I can't select it move up and down. Please push or extend the scroll bar to the very edge so that the mouse pointer catches it. Thank you.

19. Auswahlisten direkt Dialogfeldern zuweisen

    Wird in bestehenden Systemen eine neue Auswahlliste erstellt, so muss man sich anschließend durch die bestehenden Dialoge durcharbeiten und die Liste und den Nutzungszwang hinterlegen.
    Schön wäre es nach Erstellen der Liste diese direkt im Auswahllistenmenu den Dialog-Feldern (auch Info-Box) zuweisen zu können.
    Zusammen mit dem Kennzeichen 'Nur aus Auswahlliste'.
    Umgekehrt ist auch der Pflegeaufwand beim Entfernen deutlich geringer.

20. Auslesen von ZUGFeRD Informationn via Connect to Mail

    Im Moment ist es möglich, dass die ZUGFeRD Informationen über den DW-Import und Connect to Outlook ausgelesen werden.
    Dies sollte auch über das Modul Connect to Mail möglich sein.
