1. Remove preceding/trailing/in-between spaces in Store dialog fields

   We having issues with certain fields (eg VAT numbers) in Intellix Store Dialog, these fields are used in conjunction with Filtered Select Lists.
   Problem is - different companies write VAT fields different ways:
   GB123456789
   123456789
   GB 123 4567 89
   which is completely break our filtered select lists, since we query customer CRM for that VAT number, where all of it kept uniform, like:
   123456789

   We need ability to format post-Intellix fields in store dialogs - remove spaces, or certain characters using Regex or just list of characters to be removed, like:
   GB| |VAT (second item is blank space)

2. Connect to Outlook - Auswahl welche Anlagen gespeichert werden

   Kunden bekommen oft Emails von Lieferanten wo gleich mehrere einzelne Aufträge mitgeschickt werden. Diese Attachments sind dann pro Projektnummer einzeln ab zu legen. Hierzu wäre es gut, wenn man in DW die Möglichkeit hätte aus zu wählen welches Attachment jetzt gespeichert werden sollte.

   Wir arbeiten derzeit nicht an dieser Funktionalität.
   Allerdings bietet Connect to Outlook und Connect to mail ab der DocuWare Version 7.3 die Möglichkeit Anhänge getrennt von einander abzulegen. Sie können damit eine Mail mit fünf Anhängen in sechs Dokumente in DocuWare aufteilen.

   Über einen Rechtsklick auf den Anhang in Outlook können ausserdem jeweils einzelne Anhänge abgelegt werden

3. Give us the option to ignore embedded PDF textshots

   Occasionally we might come across PDF documents that have embedded textshot information that is incorrect or incomplete eg, when a document is OCR'd at an MFP or printed from Crystal Reports to DocuWare Printer. OCR will always be skipped in this case. We should have the option in the import/printer configurations to OCR the document and generate a textshot even if the PDF already contains one.

4. Bessere Korrektur von Rechnungspositionen

   Es sollte möglich sein, wie aus anderen Anwendungen bekannt, mittels gedrückter Shift-Taste eine gerade horizontale Linie zu zeichnen, um Rechnungspositionen durchzustreichen. Optimalerweise sollte aber die Point & Shoot Funktion ermöglichen, selektierten Text automatisch in ausgewählter Farbe und Stärke durchzustreichen.

5. Briefkorb Berechtigungen

   Aktuell gibt es nur die Möglichkeit die Berechtigungen auf Briefkörbe entweder einzelnen Benutzern oder Rollen zuzuweisen. Das Problem ist nun allerdings, will man nur einen bestimmten Benutzer (Bsp. ein Import oder Admin User) allen Briefkörben zuweisen ist dies extrem umständlich. Ich hatte letzthin das Vergnügen und durfte ca. 100 Briefkörbe einem Import Benutzer zuweisen.
   Das umständliche daran ist, das man bei jedem Briefkorb zuerst durch das Menü klicken muss.

6. Allow Paging for long lists in Folders & Windows Explorer

   There is a need, at times, to copy large numbers of documents out of DocuWare. Folders and Windows Explorer works perfectly for this purpose for smaller file cabinets.

   By Default, the maximum number of documents you can display is 10,000. If you set the number to be larger, then performance becomes unacceptable.

   It should be possible to break the documents into "groups" of 10,000 documents, and then to allow the user to go forward or backwords to the next or prefvious group of 10,000 documents. This way you can use this functionality on very large file cabinets, without the performance issues.

   There is a need, at times, to copy large numbers of documents out of DocuWare. Folders and Windows Explorer works perfectly for this purpose for smaller file cabinets.

7. Verknüpfung aus Viewer zur Verlinkung

   Es sollte eine Möglichkeit geben,
   wenn ein Dokument sich in der Verknüpfung befindet, diese zu markieren, bzw. kenntlich zu machen, dass sich ein Dokument dahinter befindet. Bsp. Fett geschrieben oder Anzahl der Dokumente.

8. Allow more than one field display in select list

   Allow the select list to display more than one field from text file or DB connection, so that you could have a field for the value to be selected and a description of that field's value.

   I.E a GL Number to be selected and the description of the account that number represents.

9. Allow Windows Authentication on DocuWare Mobile

   Systems with a lot of users will most likely use LDAP or AD synchronization to pull the users.

   I suggest that you allow users to authenticate using Windows Authentication on the Mobile app. It would be very helpful when rolling this out to a lot of users. Users can do that already when logging in from a Web browser.

10. Mehrere voneinander uabhängige Indexdatensätze je Dokument ermöglichen

    Es kommte bei uns recht häufig vor, dass ein Dokument für verschiedene Fälle Gültigkeit hat, z.B. ein Sicherheitsdatenblatt bezieht sich auf mehrere Artikel oder ein Dokument ist für verschiedene Vorgänge gültig (z.B. 1 Sammelrechnung -> mehrere Lieferscheine oder 1 Frachtbrief -> mehrere Aufträge...)

    Es wäre gut, wenn sich pro Dokument zusätzliche Indexdatensätze anlegen ließen ohne das Dokument kopieren zu müssen.

    Durch die Möglichkeit, mehrere Indexdatensätze je Dokument zu erzeugen könnte die Redundanz der Dokumente und Probleme bei der Aktualisierung vermieden werden.

11. wiederholen Desktop Jobs

    alle Desktop Jobs mit Warnungen sollten mit einem Klick wiederholt werden können.
    Bei fehlerhaften Jobs ist dies bereits möglich.

    Noch besser wäre es, alle oder einzelne Jobs zu markieren und nur diese dann zu wiederholen.

    Dann könnte man auch die History für markierte Jobs löschen (z.B. alle erfolgreichen)

12. Auswahl der Datenquelle bei externen Auswahllisten

    Unser Kunde ruft Daten aus dem ERP-System (Kostenstellen, Kostenarten, Kreditoren) über eine externe SQL-Datenquelle ab.
    Über die DocuWare Konfiguration können neue, externe Auswahllisten angelegt werden. Sobald man jedoch eine Liste anlegen möchte und die Datenquelle gewählt hat, beginnt sofort der Ladevorgang der Tabellen.Leider hat die Datenbank über 1.000 Tabellen, so dass dies 10 Minuten oder länger dauert.

    Das Dialogfenster bietet die Möglichkeit, entweder direkt auf die Tabellen zuzgreifen oder alternativ ein SQL-Statement einzugeben. Leider ist die Option SQL-Statement während des Ladevorgangs der Tabellen ausgegraut.

    Wir bitten um folgende Änderung: Laden der Tabellen erst ausführen, wenn der Anwender auf das Drop-Down-Feld zur Auswahl der Tabellen klickt. Somit könnte man vorher die Option auf SQL-Statement ändern und müsste den (unnötigen) Ladevorgang der Tabellen nicht aussitzen.

13. Possibility to call Specific players for specific files

    Possibility to call an external application for the consultation of specific files, for ex. an .swf file must be open by a flash player.
    When we try to open this kind of file, the viewer calls the program that was defined in advance.

14. Store automatically should be available to use a dialog of user choice

    Currently, the 'Store automatically' functionality is only available to use store dialog that is set up as default in Docuware Administration.
    Would be great if user could choose which dialog is to be used for 'Store Automatically' function. This is especially helpful using when various dialogs have additional functionality such as fixed fields values or fields with automatic increment for different document types.

15. Add Ability to Remove Blank Pages

    Would be nice to have the ability to remove blank pages from the web basket and also from the stored documents in the cabinet. This feature should be available from the task list as well.

    Would also be nice to have the ability to automatically detect and remove blank pages with the import feature.

17. Checksummen-Funktion bitte verbessern

    Um die Funktion nutzen zu können, dass Docuware "merkt", dass ein Dokument 'hinterrücks' verändert wurde, muss in der Administration ein Haken beim Archiv gesetzt werden. Vergisst man das/möchte erst später dieses Feature nutzen, hat man leider wenig Optionen:

    Leider ist es nicht möglich, mit einem Migrations- oder Index-Wiederherstellungs-Workflow für bereits abgelegten Dokumenten eine Prüfsumme hinzuzufügen. Die Prüfsummen werden ausschließlich bei der Ablage erstellt und auch von Anmerkungen nicht beeinflusst. Deshalb stellt die einzige (automatisierte) Option ein Synchronisations-Workflow, der alle Dokumente in ein komplett neues Archiv ablegt, dar.

    Das Erstellen dieser Prüfsummen im Nachhinein ist also mit sehr großem Aufwand verbunden.
    Meine Idee wäre es, wenn es entweder einen eigenen Workflow-Typ gibt, der diese Prüfsummen prüft und erstellt, falls nicht vorhanden oder in einen anderen Workflow-Typ mit einbaut - z.B. Index wiederherstellen, DB überschreibt Dokumentenheader

    Ein Reporting-Tool in diesem Umfeld der Checksummen wäre ebenfalls sehr wünschenswert.

    Die Tatsache, dass dieses Feature nicht standardmäßig eingeschaltet ist, sollte ggf. auch einmal überdacht werden, da dieser Button im Web-Client standardmäßig vorhanden ist.

19. Felder dynamisch ein/-ausblenden

    Es wäre praktisch, wenn Indexfelder dynamisch in Abhängigkeit von anderen Indexfelder angezeigt würden.
    Wenn zum Beispiel als Dokumenttyp "Lieferschein" angewählt wird soll nur das Feld Lieferscheinnummer sichtbar sein. Wenn als Dokumenttyp "Rechnung" angewählt wird, dann soll statt dessen das Feld "Rechnungsnummer" angezeigt werden (oder zumindest nicht benötigte Felder ausgegraut werden).

20. same filecabinet dialog

    I want the ability to share dialog configuration in Search, Store, Result view (index dialog).

    For example, whenever I assign a select list to a field, I have to configure in every single dialog. Same when configuring other kind of restrictions and field ordering.

    Current way of configuring allows administrator to commit mistakes when creating or updating dialogs configurations when they want to have them all alike.
