prompt field in lists
I'd like to see the ability to prompt for input on certain fields for Lists. So a list would be set with certain fields that are hard coded but have the ability to prompt the user for values for other fields.

Dateinamen mit Werten vordefinieren
Wenn man Belege einscannt mit dem iPhone dann sollte es den Dateinamen schon vordefinieren mit zB dem Aktuellen Datum. Am besten wäre man kann einen Syntax selber definieren. Beispiel: Quittung - YYYY-MM-DD - Number Nnnn. Danke sehr.

Use File Name during Edit the same way as in Download
The name of the file exported from DocuWare should be consistent whether using Download, Send, or Edit.
Currently, when I select to edit a document, it opens the originally stored file name. However, selecting Send or Download will result in the document name / file name defined by the index.
This can cause confusion if you have several documents that are copies of a template document even though their document name is different, the file name used during "Edit" remains the original.

Rechte-Differenzierung auf Entscheidungsebene
Ich habe das Problem im WFM, dass ich gern einen sehr flexiblen WF bauen möchte und habe folgende Schritte: a) Sichtung durch irgendeinen Mitarbeiter aus der Niederlassung, b) Prüfung durch den Chef der Niederlassung, wobei dieser auch die Sichtung mit übernehmen kann.
"nur Sichtung" und "Sichtung und Prüfung" sollen zeitgleich zur Verfügung stehen und nur der Chef soll die Möglichkeit haben die Prüfung mit zu übernehmen. Idee war einfach zwei Entscheidungen anzubieten.
Mein Problem ist, dass ich immer alle Entscheidungen einer Aufgabe zu einer Gruppe(verbesserungsfähig)/zu einer einzelnen Person zuweisen muss und nicht sagen kann "diese Entscheidung darf nur diese Person/Gruppe…1 vote -
Reihenfolge der Ausdrucke beibehalten
Es soll sichergestellt werden, dass Druckaufträge nacheinander verarbeitet und an den physikalischen Drucker weitergeleitet werden. FIFO Prinzip!
Aktuell werden Ausdrucke durcheinander ins Archiv und am physikalischen Drucker gedruckt.25 votes -
Kriterien für selbst erstellte Listen sollten änderbar sein
Wenn man eine Suche als Liste speichert, kann man später nicht mehr erkennen, auf welchen Suchbedingungen die Liste basiert. Auch eine Änderungsmöglichkeit dieser Bedingungen wäre sinnvoll.
Aktuell kann man nur eine nicht mehr ganz passende Liste löschen, eine neue Suche ausführen und diese dann wiederum als Liste speichern. Direkt die Listenbedingungen zu ändern, wäre einfacher.

Workflow-Aufgaben sollten unabhängig von gesetzten Indexfiltern sichtbar sein (optional)
So, wie es in der Einrichtung eines Archivprofiles die Möglichkeit gibt "Dokumente anzeigen" anzuwählen, sollte es auch möglich geben "Aufgabe anzeigen" (. o. Ä.) zu wählen.
So könnten die Berechtigungen so gesteuert werden, dass man jede Aufgabe, die einem zugewiesen wird unabhängig von hinterlegten Indexfiltern sehen kann.
Bei der Verteilung von Dokumenten via Stempel war es noch möglich die Berechtigungen über "Dokument anzeigen" entsprechend zu steuern.
Es kommt denke ich in jedem Unternehmen vor, dass auch ab und zu Dokumente bearbeitet werden müssen, die nicht dem eigentlichen Berechtigungskonzept entsprechen. Die Häufung dieser fälle bereitet jedoch eine Menge Mehrarbeit.

Allow for reset of pre-indexed fields in Document Tray
When using the autofill indexing to store multiple documents in the document tray to a file cabinet, using the "Reset" button does not clear all fields in the store dialog. Understanding that this may be by design, there should be an option to reset all fields or just the fields that don't apply to the pre-filled index fields.

2-Seitige Ansicht von Dokumenten im Viewer
Unsere Mitarbeiter, inbesondere in der Buchhaltung, wünschen sich, dass es möglich ist im Viewer 2 Seiten eines Dokumentes nebeneinander anzuzeigen.
Gerade bei der Rechnungsprüfung, bei der Rechnungen oft 2-seitig sind, wäre dies sehr hilfreich. So hat man alle relevanten Angaben auf einen Blick. (Hierzu müsste der Viewer natürlich in einem separaten Fenster geöffnet sein, um eine annehmbare Größe zu bewirken)

Stempel in Aufgabenlisten vorgeben
Wir arbeiten mit Aufgabenlisten und nutzen dabei die Stempelfunktion. Je Aufgabenliste werden nur bestimmte Stempel benötigt. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn man hier vorgeben könnte, welche Stempel überhaupt eingesetzt werden dürfen, ggf. noch weiter eingeschränkbar durch die Benutzerrechte am Stempel.

Add search criteria and SQL statements to search dialogs and/or result lists (similar to task lists)
Some of our clients have changed their company names over time.
When this happens, a new CustomerNumber is given in our database to them. It is required very often to search all the documents from one customer, including those indexed with the previous names (linked now by the Original Customer Number only).Users should find all of the required documents by typing the current or any Company name the customer has had.
This could be done by doing 2 things:
1. adding somewhere the SQL statements capability and

Intelligent Indexing je Briefkorb für jeden Ablagedialog
Intelligent Indexing kann aktuell nur für einen Ablagedialog je Eingang genutzt werden. Unsere Ablagedialoge für bestimmte Belegarten unterscheiden sich ein wenig, so dass wir das Indexing für mehrere Dialoge gebrauchen könnten. Im Setup "vergisst" die Indexing Einstellung jedoch Feldzuordungen wieder, wenn man einen anderen Ablagedialog konfiguriert

Automate DesktopApp default connection to PlatformRO
When deploying DWDesktopApp there is a script on the DW FAQ site called "DocuWareXXDesktopAppsSilent_Install.bat". This can be used to automate the deployment of DWDesktopApp. The problem is the portion that directs the creation of the default connection does not work with PlatformRO. You must manually log into your Read Only Platform site and use the "Connect Desktop Apps" option.
I would be great if customers who purchased RO and SmartConnect could automate the creation of the default connection to PlatformRO as well as have a visual representation in the DesktopApp that showed the app's connection was…

Creating reports in DocuWare administration
It is very important to create custom reports about users including role, profile, and group assignment, user permissions on each file cabinet. It is an added value in DocuWare administration for auditing purpose and PCI compliance.

add bookmarks to the Viewer
Every time I close a multi-page document in the Viewer I lose my place - it'd be great if I could place a bookmark (with or without a name), especially for those long documents.
The "Place Bookmark" button could be in the Tools or Navigation section and the Navigation bar could allow you to scroll between multiple bookmarks, the way you scroll between pages and docs.

E-Mail Betreff definieren
Aus dem DocuWare Web-Client können Dokumente per E-Mail versendet werden. Hier wäre es noch sehr hilfreich, wenn der Administrator oder der User selber einen Betreff mit festen Werten und/oder Indexwerten vordefinieren könnten.
