Role-, Profile- and User-Managemant via .NET SDK
It should be possible to manage roles, (archive-)profiles and users by using the .NET SDK. Users for the WebClient-ReadOnly-License must be created manually, which prevents the integration of DW into external applications.
Addtionally it would be great to create/copy archives via code. Having several customers with the same archive structure with different users (and rights) always requires manual configuration of users (and roles and prfiles, and so on) rofiles when adding new customers.17 votes -
Autoscan/Scan hotkey
I feel like it would be a good idea to have the option to allow the scanner to automatically scan documents into Docuware when it detects that there are papers placed into the paper tray, or maybe even allow the user to assign a hotkey on the keyboard that will start the scanning process.

Alphabetical list of search dialogs in WebClient
When I go to Settings > searches, to enable which search dialogs I want to be visible. I see a list of 40+ dialogs, but they are not alphabetical so I cannot easily find the one I want!!

Edit Forms CSS/Javascript
Other competitors to DocuWare that offer Forms solution are graphically very customizable. DocuWare's Forms are not as robust. It would be nice to edit the graphical elements of the Forms more in-depth via CSS and/or JavaScript.

Indexfelder zurücksetzen
Bei Ablage von Dokumenten per Platform SDK muss man Indexfelder als leer übergeben können. Ebenso brauchen wir unbedingt die Möglichkeiten einmal gesetzte Indexfelder per Update wieder auf leer "zurücksetzen" zu können. Letzteres lässt sich im Augenblick nur für String-Felder realisieren. Int, Decimal und DateTime-Felder können einmal gesetzt nicht wieder zurückgesetzt werden. Das ist zur Korrektur unbedingt notwendig!

automatischen Stempel setzen bei Datenbankeintrag
Die Option "Wird die Entscheidung per Formular getroffen, wird automatisch ein Stempel gesetzt" soll ignoriert werden, wenn es sich bei dem „Dokument“ um einen Datenbankeintrag handelt

Allow a single document within a clipped document to be removed or copied.
We clip multiple files together for a workflow and store the document, however we need the ability to copy one of those files, modify it, then re-store it as a separate document without affecting the clipped file.

show the number of documents in a tray in the tab of the tray next to the name
In the tab that contains the name of tray it would be an improvement if it also contained the number of documents in that tray.

Feldmasken-Funktionalität auf den Stand des Windows-Client bringen
Wenn die Feldmaske z. B. einen Bindestrich an einer definierten Stelle enthält, muss dieser jetzt eingetippt werden. Er wird nicht, wie im Windows-Client, an dieser Stelle fest eingetragen. Die Eingabe wurde damit umständlicher, denn die Feldmaske prüft nur noch ab, ob die gesamte Eingabe den Vorgaben entspricht

Trennen von geklammerten Dateien
Es sollte möglich sein auch geklammerte Dokumente mit dem "trennen" Button voneinander zu trennen. Bisher ist dies nur bei gehefteten Seiten möglich.
Anwendungsfall: Es wurde ein Dokument in der falschen Reihenfolge geklammert und aus diesem Grund in den Briefkorb ausgecheckt. Hier muss nun das gesamte Dokument entklammert werden, wobei die Reihenfolge zwar bei der Version 6.7 bestehen bleibt, aber es bei vielen Dateien unübersichtlich wird. Hier wäre es praktischer, wenn man mit dem "trennen" Button an einer bestimmten Stelle das Dokument entklammern könnte.(wie bei den gehefteten Dokumenten)

dynamische Ergebnisliste, Spalten autom. ausblenden
Wenn wir nach mehreren Feldern (eindeutige Auswahl ohne *) suchen, interessieren diese Felder in der Ergebnis-Anzeige nicht mehr, da diese ja bei allen gefundenen Dokumenten gleich sind.
Wir würden jetzt gerne die Spalten, die in der Suchmaske mit eindeutigen Werten befüllt wurden automatisch auf Spaltenbreite 0 setzen lassen, damit diese die Übersicht in der Ergebnisliste verbessern, also „Suchspalten dynamisch ausblenden“.

2) Das Ergebnis, hier sind die Spalten ProjectNr., Doctype, Item und PSP Code uninteressant, da diese ja anhand der eindeutigen Suche (ohne *) alle den gleichen Inhalt aufweisen (Screenshot-2)

Konfigurationen besser anzeigen
Die Konfigurationen (DWPrinter, DWImport, ...) sollten auch gruppiert werden können oder mit einer Suchfunktion verbunden werden.
Hat ein Kunde sehr viele Konfigurationen, muss man sehr lange scrollen, um auf eine Konfiguration zu kommen.

Ein Gitternetz oder ein Lineal im DW Viewer verwendet werden kann - z.B. um die positionsweise Prüfung oder Erfassung von Rechnungen zu erle

Keep entires in dw Import
It would be helpful If DW Import supported keep entries when processing a batch of documents. The use case for this is when a user scans a batch of documents with a batch separation sheet and each document in the batch would have its own document separation sheet. The batch sheet would would map to field (like batch number) and the document sheet would contain document level information. I have seen in other software this can be accomplished by using keep entries (from previous document) when processing a batch in DW import.

automatische Ablage auf Basis von Belegdaten
In unserem Hause gibt es zu fast allen Rechnungen entweder Aufträge oder Verträge. Deren Auftrags-/ Vertragsnummern ließt das intelligent Indexing bereits zuverlässig in Indexfelder ein.
Anhand unserer externen DB unserer ERP können wir auf Basis dieser Daten die Indexierung für die Ablage vervollständigen, so dass die Ablage der Belege automatisiert werden könnte.
Aus unserer Sicht könnte so das intelligent Indexing nach seinem Prozess diese Vervollständigung vornehmen und dann einfach die Ablage vornehmen. Der MItarbeiter kümmert sich nur noch um den Rest, der nicht vervollständig werden konnte.

Vertretunggsituation
Für unser Haus ist die Vertretungssituation von Mitarbeitern nicht ausreichend gelöst. Es wäre ideal, wenn im Programm eingetragen werden könnte, welche MA die Vertretung übernimmt.
In diesem Zeitraum sollte diese MA "meine Aufgaben" und auch die "Vertretungsaufgaben" einsehen können, um diese zu bearbeiten.
Das wäre aus unserer Sichte eine schlanke und ideale Lösung.

Per Doppelklick ein Programm öffnen
Es sollte möglich sein per Doppelklick im WebClient ein Programm zur Anzeige öffnen. Früher konnte man dies pro Dateiendung (z.B. XLS, DOC...) über die Administration einstellen (Für Anzeige- / Beabreitungsprogramm). Heute kann man nur mit Rechtsklick / Bearbeiten das Bearbeitungsprogramm öffnen, welches der Dateiendung in Windows hinterlegt ist. Der Doppelklick mit linker Maustaste ist derzeit nicht konfigurierbar.

Reihenfolge der geklammerten Dateien/ Anhänge eines Dokumentes nachträglich ändern
Bei bereits archivierten Dokumenten sollte es möglich sein die Reihenfolge der Dateien bzw. Anhänge nachträglich zu ändern.

Ability to change colors in web viewer, result lists...
Highlighted rows in the result list changed from blue to grey when we updated to 6.7. Allow admins to control style colors or have alternative style sheet themes.
