Customisation of the viewer
With DW4x we could customise access rights in the viewer directly in the admin tool. This however, is not possible in the new web client. It would be good if we got this feature back with 6.x onwards. Is this something that is on the roadmap

"Nach dem Ablegen löschen" eigene Ordner anlegen
Wenn man "Nach dem Ablegen löschen" aktiviert, wäre es praktisch, für die E-mails, die in den "gelöschte Elemente" Ordner von Outlook geschoben werden, einen eigenen Ordner auswählen zu können.

Automatisches Anpassen der Datentyp von externen Datenquellen in AUTOINDEX
Mit Active Import war es möglich bei der Indexerweiterung anhand externer Datenquellen (Datenbanken) die Feldzuweisungen auch vorzunehmen, wenn der Datentyp nicht identisch war. Das heisst, ein Datenbankfeld vom Typ Text konnte auch einem Datumsfeld in DocuWare zugewiesen werden, solange der Feldinhalt passt. Das „casten“ der Datentypen hat Active Import dabei selbst übernommen.
Mit AUTOINDEX ist das aktuell nicht möglich, weshalb im Vorfeld sichergestellt werden muss, dass die externen Daten mit demselben Datentyp vorliegen wie in DocuWare. Nur dann kann eine Feldzuweisung vorgenommen werden. Die aktuelle Lösung ist die Erstellung und Pflege einer speziellen Datenbank-View.

Notification
A document stored in the file cabinet ready for email notification. (so in the notification table). A user logs in during the day and approves invoice randomly… At 4pm (or whatever time you assign) however, he will still get an email notification to let him know that he has invoices to approve even though he has already completed his action. It would be good if we could remove this. What do you think?
4 votesThank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

Be able to delete pages from a document from viewer or result list
It would be nice to be able to delete pages from a document within the viewer or arrange the order of pages from the basket. I would also like to rearrange pages from the result list.

Bei Dokumenten-Links wäre es hilfreich, wenn man ein Feld mehrfach angeben könnte
Um alle zusammenhängenden Dokumente via Links zu finden, wäre es hilfreich, wenn man bei der Konfiguration ein Feld mehrfach angeben könnte. Alternativ wäre ein SQL-Statement mit Platzhaltern für Indexfelder des Ursprungsdokumentes noch mächtiger. z.B. Datenbankfeld REGEXP '^%Dokumenten-Index%_[0-9]{3}'

Change the "is different than previous page" Split option to not split if the zone is empty.
I have had multiple occasions where the first page of a new document has a customer number and the subsequent pages do not. I need a way to say that if the zone has a number in it that is different from the previous, but NOT EMPTY then split before that page. Currently, the “different than previous” option considers a blank zone a new document and this does not work for these scenarios.

Show both the Approve and Disapprove stamp on the toolbar avoiding having to click on the stamp down arrow to get to one or the other.
It saves time (minimal), but wrist motion to move the mouse. It is unnecessary.

Intelligent Indexing & Select Lists
Intelligent Indexing and Select Lists needs to be linked in some way.
Currently when using intelligent indexing with something like Supplier Name as a select List only field it will pick up the customer name from the invoice but not match this name to the name in the select list. This then stops us from being able to store the document automatically.
If the field is a select list only field, some way on linking the customer names to what Intel Index finds would be great.

Es sollte die Möglichkeit bestehen falsch gesetzte Stempel wieder löschen zu können oder zumindest vom Overlay zu entfernen.

nur Teile eines Stempels speichern
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit nur Teiele einer Auswahlliste des Tempels anzubringen:
Praxisanforderung ich habe eine Kostenstellen Übersicht:
4711 - Werkstatt
4712 - Buchhaltung
etc. Diese soll in der Auswalliste des Stempels angezeigt werden. Im Stempel selbst soll aber nur 4711 stehen.
--> Über Fledmaske und kürzen wäre dies ja möglich allerdings kommt noch die Fehlermeldung dass der Inhalt nicht abgespeichert werden kann

Eine Tastenkombination womit man den Stempel im WebClient auswählen kann.
Es wäre schön wenn man im Viewer per Tastenkombination einen Stempel aufrufen kann.

Auswahllisten neben Werten auch Beschreibungen enthält
Bei Auswahllisten stehen wir immer vor der Herausforderung, dass wir neben reinen Werten auch gerne eine Beschreibende Spalte anzeigen würden.
Bei der Zuweisung von Kostenstellen werden die Nummern für nachfolgende Prozesse benötigt. Für den Anwender ist es jedoch problematisch sich ohne weitere Beschreibung in der Nummernliste zurechtzufinden.
Eine Idee wäre das Einblenden von zwei oder mehr Spalten beim DropDown - Der Wert muss dann aus der definierten "Wert-Spalte" genommen werden.So könnte man sich lästige String-Verkettungen in SQL sparen, die später wieder durch Autoindex zerlegt werden....
29 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Wir haben es unserer Sammlung von Ideen und Funktionen hinzugefügt und werden es weiter untersuchen. Wir können derzeit nicht genau sagen, wann diese Idee umgesetzt wird. Sobald wir weitere Informationen haben, werden wir den Status aktualisieren.

Werkzeug "Lupe verwenden"
In der Version 6.1 wude beim Verwenden der Option "Lupe verwenden" der ausgewählte Bereich im separaten Fenster vergrößert dargestellt. Diese Darstellung wünschen sich die Benutzer auch in den neueren DW Versionen.

Den Zugriffszeitpunkt auf Dokumente in Baskets korrekt erfassen
Im Moment wird der Zugriffszeitpunkt auf Dokumente im Basket nicht richtig aktualisiert. Würde dies richtig erfasst, könnte man den DocuWare Basket besser in einer Schnittstelle verwenden (Man wüsste welches Dokument ein User zuletzt geöffnet hat bzw. im Viewer anschaut/verwendet).
Der Zugriffszeitpunkt wird im Moment nur erfasst, wenn das Dokument nicht auch dem Zwischenspeicher geladen wird. Dabei wird der Zeitpunkt in das Feld DWLAstaccessdatetime in der Datenbank geschrieben.
Erstell man einen Trace auf der Datenbank der die Zugriffe auf die Basket DB überwacht, kann man sehen das bereits bei jedem Zugriff auf ein Dokument, 3 Select Abfragen erfolgen. Selbst wenn das…

Workflows-Zugriff über Platform
In der GAPI war es möglich auf die vordefinierten Workflows zuzugreifen. Anscheinend ist ein solcher Zugriff über die Platform bisher nicht implementiert. Dieser wäre aber wichtig um Workflows zu überwachen und gegebenenfalls neu starten zu können.

Stichwortfeldern
Ein mehrfaches Anbringen eines Stempels soll wie in unserem Hause bei Kostenstellen benötigt, ein Stichwortfeld mit dem Stempelinhalt füllen. Es können mehrere Stempel (Kostenstellen) einer Rechnung zugeordnet werden. Weitere Stempel überschreiben das vorherige Feld.

Have SmartConnect recognize apps by screen-scraping.
So many applications, especially the web-based packages that are so prevalent these days, don't change their window name as the user navigates through them. This is reducing the effectiveness of SmartConnect because it's growing more and more unable to recognize where/when to place buttons. If we could include a hot zone that it would look at, much like it does when auto-populating index fields, to help it decide when/where to show buttons that would maintain SmartConnects forward-compatibility.
