Add the abilty to store email without attachment in Connect to Outlook.
Connect to Outlook should have an option to store the email without attachment as a 4th option. Right now we have the following options when storing an email:
- Email and attachment, show email first
- Attachment only
- Email and attachment, show attachments first
Would be great to have a 4th option: Email only

Add the ability to use an index field to pre-populate forms in a stamp
It would be beneficial to be able to add predefined values from an index field when creating a stamp with form fields. Currently, if you set a form field in a stamp to "Predefined Entry" you only receive the basic options like currentusershortname, currentdate, etc.

Verschieben im Briefkorb des Web-Client wieder ermöglichen
In älteren Versionen war es möglich im Briefkorb die Dokumente zu verschieben.
Im 6.6 er kann man die Dokumente leider nicht mehr wie gewünscht selber platzieren.
Dies ist beim Heften/Klammern sehr hilfreich

Sortierung ändern bei den Vorschlägen von Feldinhalten
Bei der Ablage von Dokumenten wird bei der Eingabe in einem Feld Vorschläge von bereits eingegebenen Werten angezeigt. Die Vorschläge sind in aufsteigender Reihenfolge.
Die Reihenfolge der Sortierung sollte anpassbar sein.
Beispiel: Der Kunde trägt in ein Feld seine Kostenstellen ein. Er möchte, dass durch eine absteigende Reihenfolge die neuesten Kostenstellen oben stehen und somit die Ablage von Dokumenten schneller geht.6 votesVielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Speichern von verschiedenen Textauswahlwerkzeugen
Es wäre hilfreich wenn verschiedene Voreinstellungen des Textwerkzeuges je user abspeicherbar wären in einer Art Vorbelegung ähnlich der Stempel.
Z.B.
- rot schriftgröße 15 ****
- grün schriftgröße 10 dünn

Access Rights
Access Rights to be determined in relation to layers on the document. Take the case of a document with bank details on it. Allow certain users to see Layer with bank details. Redact the bank details on layer 2 and give other users access to that. I can see this being beneficial for a number of different objectives

Document Names stop use of AutoFill indexing
For some compliance reasons, the file name of the document being stored must be included as an index.
In 6.5 and 6.6, when you attemp to use Autofill Indexing with this file name as an index, Autofill will no longer work as it will not match the origional document's file name.
There needs to be a method where any index can be disabled for filtering to allow AutoFill to work on multiple documents.

letzte Bearbeiter als Historie als "eingebaute DW-Funktion"
Ich suche gerade nach einer Möglichkeit, wie ich die Bearbeitungs-Historie chronologisch dokumentieren kann, so dass ein Anwender später auch danach suchen könnte - z.B.
"Habe ich letzte Woche bearbeitet"
- wenn im Zuge von echter DMS-Funktionalität der letzte Bearbeiter immer wieder überschrieben wird hilft mir das hier nicht.Die WF-Historie hilft mir hier leider auch nicht weiter, weil der Anwender nicht danach suchen kann und ich möchte mich hier auch nicht auf das WF-Modul beschränken, da ich ja auch mit einer Aufgabenliste oder dem guten, alten Content Folder arbeiten könnte - alternativ natürlich einfach nur etwas an meinem Dokument ändere.…

Einführung einer Stempel-Leiste und mehr Optionen bei Stempeln
Ich schlage vor, dass man (in Bezug auf den WF-Manager ab DW 6.6) eine Stempel-Leiste einführt, in der Stempel in chronologischer Reihenfolge angezeigt werden.
Zusätzlich sollte man vielleicht zwischen einem Stempel und den restlichen Anmerkungen differenzieren - vielleicht sogar zwischen herkömmlichen Stempeln und Stempel, die über ein Formular im WF-Manager-Modul (ab 6.6) automatisch gesetzt wurden.
Hintergrund ist, dass das automatisierte Stempeln sehr verbesserungsfähig ist, was die Position angeht.
Argumente des Kunden:
1.) Stempel abgeschnitten weil über den Rand des Dokumentes gestempelt wurde
2.) Stempelpositionen wild durcheinander und keine zeitliche Abfolge erkennbar

Add the ability to print just the view of the Viewer Window
We work with many clients who view large drawings and sometimes need to print a section of the map. It would be beneficial to add the ability to print just the view of the viewer, even if zoomed in. Right now, if the user zooms in to the portion of the map and chooses the Print function, it opens in the PDF viewer and the user has to zoom in all over again.

Meldung beim Druck von PDF-Dateien mit dem DWPrinter
Beim Versuch, eine PDF-Datei mit dem DWPrinter zu drucken sollte eine Meldung erscheinen, daß PDF-Dateien vom DWPrinter nicht unterstützt werden. Hintergrund: Einige Kunden benutzen zur Ablage von vorhandenen oder neu erstellten Dateien den DWPrinter, was allerdings, wie bekannt, bei PDF-Dateien nicht funktioniert. Da kann diese Meldung als Hinweis dienen, damit der User hier die PDF-Dateien evtl. über den DWImport in DocuWare archiviert.

DocuWare Import Job zeitgesteuert
Ein DocuWare Import Job sollte eine Zeitsteuerung haben, damit man zeitintensive Jobs (Massenübernahme von PDF-Dateien) zu einem nicht kritischen Zeitpunkt in der Nacht durchführen kann.
Wichtige Jobs, die nur in Anwesenheit des Anwenders laufen (Übernahme von gescannten Dokumenten eines MFP) pausieren dann Nachts.24 votes -
Connect To Office App
How about a Connect To Office App, this app would be like the old Office add in and work similar to how Connect To Outlook does.
This could work alongside WEC rather than replace it. A lot of companies miss the old add in and the WEC although good can be a longer method of storing for the customer.

Webviewer Anzeigenverbesserung
Bei der Nutzung der "Anzeigen verbessern" benötigt diese bis zu 2 Sekunden bis das Bild entsprechend klar angezeigt wird. Bei einigen Anwendern führt das zu einer gefühlt höheren Beanspruchung der Augen. Im Webviewer unter 5.1c wurde das Bild gleich mit der entsprechenden Verbesserung geladen, kann dies im HTML-5 Webviewer ebenfalls realisiert werden?

Bemerkungsfeldlänge in der Ergebnisliste
In der Ergebnisliste sollte es möglich sein das Bemerkungsfeld beliebig lang zu ziehen, bisher ist diese Möglichkeit nur bei allen anderen Feldern gegeben.

Anzeigeoptionen (Kontrast) für den User einstellbar
Wir haben aktuell folgenden Kundenwusch: Jeder User sollte die Möglichkeit haben, die Ansicht von Dokumenten individuell zu verbessern. Beispielsweise den Kontrast zu erhöhen.

Restore the ability to do an "OR" search in the web client when searching more than one index
The windows client had radio buttons for "And" and "OR" on the search dialog when entering values on more than one index. Example: Email file cabinet has a To index and a From index. I want to search for emails To or From an individual.

bring back the ability to copy search results and paste into Excel
We had this feature in our previous version of Docuware. We recently upgraded to 6.6 and lost this feature. It's handy for reporting.

Allow more complex conditions for email notification triggers
We would like to be able to generate triggers based on conditions that contain a combination of AND and OR such as the following:
Status = "Needs approval" AND
Department = "Accounting" OR Department = "Billing"One solution would be to have the ability to reference a task list to obtain the conditions for the email trigger since many times there is a related task list and the task lists allow for more complex conditions.
