Print/Download without annotations
When you print or download a document it should be possible to only give the user one option with annotations. For example: Users should be only allowed to download/print documents WITH annotations so they can't even see the option to print/download without annotations.

Die Navigationssymbole im Viewer besser fixieren und abgrenzen.
Derzeitig springen je nach Dokumententyp und Seitenzahl die Navi-Links wild hin und her.
Die Navigation in der Werkzeugleiste ist nicht sofort ersichtlich und muss immer wieder neu geöffnet werden. Dann belegt diese kostbaren Platz.2 votes -
Die Schriftgröße der Ergebnisliste einstellbar machen.
Derzeitig kann der Anwender nur per Browserzoom skalieren.

Filter für Stempel auf Indexfelder
Bei einem Stempel können Filter auf Felder hinterlegt werden. Bei Dokumenten mit zutreffenden Filterkriterien wird dieser Stempel ein- bzw. ausgeblendet.

DW 6.6 Reihenfolge der Sortierung der Search Dialoge / Briefkörbe vorgeben
Es sollte für die Benutzer ein Std. Profil erstellt werden können unter welchem man die Reihenfolge der angezeigten Masken definiert.Zumindest sollte es die Möglichkeit geben die Sortierung nach Archiv oder Namen der Maske/Briefkörbe durchzuführen, so das bei Einsatz von mehreren Archiven/Briefkörben die Reihenfolge nicht bei jedem Benutzer manuell neu eingestellt werden muss.

Reset on Store Dialog keeps previous index entries ... Add a clear all option
Reset in DW6 resets changes made to preindexed index entries (this is a good feature) -- Reset in DW5 removed all of the data in the index fields. Suggest adding the option to do the same in DW6 ... such as adding a clear entries button.

Connect to Outlook Watched Folders should have an option to keep the email in the watched folder
Right now watched folders in Outlook automatically deletes the emails that are put in that folder with out an option to change. In DocuWare 5 deleting the original was always an option. Would like to see that option returned. -- Plus, it makes more sense to have this option available for both watched folders and regular connect to outlook configurations anyway.

Ability to change the query of a list
I have some lists (created by using "Save this search as list" from a result list) which I need to change from time to time, e.g. each half year.
The queries behind this lists are a bit complex and it is not failure save to create them new - I don't reminder them in detail.
Much better would be if I could get back to the search dialog, then I can change there what I want, and create a new list.

Abbruch des Stempelvorgangs mit der rechten Maustaste
Aktuell ist ein Stempelvorgang nur durch die ESC Taste abzubrechen. Einfacher in der Handhabung wäre es den Vorgang auch über die rechte Maustaste abbrechen zu können.

add previous week day (work day) to the document store date dropdown
gives you the ability to email yourself a report of document types from the previous day/ previous workday.

Pre-load upcoming pages in web viewer so pages load instantly
When a document is opened in the web viewer, it can take a while to render each page. Instead of waiting until the user clicks "Next page", the viewer should pre-download the next few pages in the background. This way, when the user clicks the Next Page button, the page can be displayed instantly.
This would make navigating documents much quicker/simpler for the users. Presenting content to the user as quickly as possible, even if it causes unnecessary bandwidth, is a primary concern of any CMS. It should be just as fast as browsing photo albums on popular social networking…

Markierung der Dokumente die sich im Abalgeprozess befinden
Beim Kunden soll ein Team von 6 Personen oder mehr Dokumente ablegen, welche zuvor von Intelligent Indexing bearbeitet wurden.
Person 1 schiebt ein Dokument 1 auf den Ablagedialog und prüft die Indexdaten.
Im selben Moment schiebt Person 2 das Dokument auf den Ablagedialog und beginnt mit der Prüfung der erkannten Indexdaten.
Person 1 legt das Dokument jetzt ab.
Jetzt möchte das auch Person 2 tun, bekommt aber die Meldung, dass das Dokumente nicht mehr verfügbar ist. --> Arbeit umsonst gemacht.Das multipliziert sich, je nach dem wie viele Personen gemeinsam ablegen.

Automatischer E-Mail-Versand durch DocuWare Printer
Die Anfragen nach dem elektronischen Versand von Ausgangsrechnungen steigt. Über den Docuware-Printer würde sich das ja realisieren lassen. Allerdings ist es aktuell so, dass für jede Rechnung der Outlook-Client hochpoppt und der Versand der E-Mail durch klicken auf senden angestoßen werden muss. Bei Stapelabrechnungen von mehreren hundert Rechnungen am Tag ist dies nicht praktikabel. Hier wäre ein automatischer Versand ohne manuellen Eingriff wünschenswert.
9 votesDiese Funktion ist aktuell nicht in der Planung. Ein automatischer E-Mail-Versand am Client ist sehr fehlerträchtig, da der Benutzer jederzeit beispielsweise seinen Computer ausschalten kann, während noch nicht alle E-Mails versand sind. In Verbindung mit dem DocuWare Workflow Manager können Sie sich einen Workflow erstellen, der bestimmte abgelegte Dokumente atomatisch per E-Mail verschickt. Da dies ein Serverprozess ist, können die Dokumente ohne Benutzerinteraktion verschickt werden.

In der DocuWare Printer Konfiguration unter Identifizierung eine und/oder Funktion zwischen den Auslesebereichen ermöglicht wird.
Sowohl in den Bereichen Identifizierung und Teilung sollte die Möglichkeit bestehen verschiedene Auslesebereiche mit und/oder zu verknüpfen.

DocuWare Import - Indexerweiterung
Unter 5.1b SP3 gab es im Active Import die Funktion "Indexerweiterung - Datenbank".
Über eine ODBC Verbindung wurde auf Grund vom Barcode, eine SQL Abfrage für die Indexerweiterung der Felder vorgenommen.Diese Index-Erweiterung wurde manuell in der Ablagemaske vor der DocuWare-Ablage geprüft, um evtl. Fehler abzufangen. Diese Prüfung ist elementar wichtig, da auf Grund der Indexbegriffe nachgelagerte Workflows starten.
Es ist ein einfacher und vertrauter Weg, fehlerhaft erkannte Barcodes (z.B. mehrere Barcodes auf einem Dokument) und dadurch falsche Indexerweiterung zu eliminieren.
Aus diesem Grund schlage ich vor, die früher vorhandene Funktionalität auch in den neuen Modulen einzupflegen.4 votes -
Benutzersynchronisation per LDAP vollständige Einträge pro Benutzer übernehmen (Z.B. Passwörter)
Bei uns im Hause gibt es immer wieder Diskussionen über die Benutzerverwaltung innerhalbs DocuWare. Was alle bemängeln, dass nicht die Möglichkeit besteht, über LDAP so etwas wie Passwörter, Emailadresse etc. mit zu nehmen. Die Synchronisation ist nur dann wirklich sinnvoll. Ansonsten ist die Funktion nicht wirklich sinnvoll, wenn ich alles nachpflegen muss.
