Stop forcing alphabetical sorting of Select Lists.
We can create Select Lists grouped and arraigned in the order that makes sense to the user. But DocuWare insists on resorting the list in alphabetical order. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS!
Now we have to create Select Lists with numeric prefixes to force our sort order. Then the users have to memorize a complete list of prefixes, to allow rapid data entry. They should be able to just start typing the description and have it appear, but be able to pick from a sensibly ordered list if the they need help.

Our customers have to have the Placeholder function of the Field Masks included in the Web Client
According to your FAQ #1858, Because of technical reasons it is not possible to display in Web Client placeholders in fields with field masks. Only in Windows Client placeholders can be displayed.
A large portion of our customer base is comprised of County Clerk’s Office within the State of Indiana. The primary field that they use to look up documents is a 24-character Cause Number, which includes numbers and letters separated by dashes in a state-defined format. Schreibgeschützt öffnen im WebClient bei Version 6.5 verschwunden
Im Docuware Viewer ist die Funktion "schreibgeschützt öffnen" bei 6.5 einfach entfernt worden. Da der Docuware Viewer Word Markups nicht anzeigt und auch nicht druckt, war diese Funktion für uns sehr wichtig.
Außerdem wurde der checkout in Dateisystem auch einfach entfernt.
Also, wenn ich kurz anmerken darf, dass ist keine angenehmes arbeiten, wenn funktionen entfernt werden aber andererseits hotfixes nur für die aktuelle version entwickelt werden.1 vote -
Connect to Mail - add the ability to autorotate attachments just like with DWImport
I have a client that has incoming emails with documents attached that were scanned sideways. It would be very helpful if we could import these documents with Connect to Mail and Autorotate them on the way in to the file cabinet.

Hervorhebung von Dokumenten anhand von Meta Daten
Es wäre schön, wenn man Dokumente irgendwie in der Ergebnisliste hervorheben könnte, wenn bestimmte Meta Werte vorhanden sind.
Beispiel ein Dokument hat im Meta Feld Status = important. Dann wird der Eintrag in der Ergebnissliste fett oder rot oder sonst wie hervorgehoben.

Vorbereitung von Ordnerstrukturen im Windows Explorer Client
Im Windows Explorer Client sollte es möglich sein, leere Ordnerstrukturen aus dem Dateisystem zu importieren (etwa als Aktenordnung für Projektakten). Hierbei sollten leere Ordner als Datenbank-Eintrag ohne Dokument angelegt werden.

Batch user tools for managing users.
Some installations have hundreds or thousands of users. We need tools to manage sub-groups, for ex., the DW customer's customers customers, or enterprise customers with large divisions. In particular one function badly needed is a wayt to export users (and attributes) to CSV or Excel.

Möglichkeit, Aufgabenlisten wieder in einer Liste anzuwählen
Bei mehreren Aufgabenlisten geht die Übersicht in den Reitern/Karten (Listen) über die verfügbaren Aufgabenlisten verloren - es wäre günstig, die verfügbaren Aufgabenlisten in einer Liste zu sehen und direkt auswählen zu können, so wie es bisher der Fall war.

When using 'Keep Entries' have an option NOT to carry over field which is 'FileName'
When Multiple documents with similar Index data are stored, an option should be available to have the 'File Name' field come from the next document, not carried over from previous one. Would be even better if a selection can be made which fields are carried over and which are not.

This used to be functionality in Active Import. That allowed for building complex multi-step import configurations.

Use of SQL statements in SmartConnect, Printer and Import
In the same way use of SQL statement option is available for C2O configuration, it should be made available in indexing for Import, Printer and SmartConnect

Leere Formularfelder im Workflow Stempel ausblenden
Der Kunde nutzt im Workflow einen Kontierungsstempel um mehrere Koststellen, Konten und Beträge zu einer Rechnung hinzuzufügen.
Um es einfach zu gestallten, wurde mehrere Formularfelder in der Entscheidung "Kontieren" erstellt.

Betrag1Kst2
Konto2
Betrag2usw..
Wenn eine Rechnung jetzt nur eine Kostenstelle hat, werden die Formularfeldnamen der leeren Formularfelder (Kst2, Konto2, Betrag2) trotzdem mit auf das Dokument aufgebracht. Dies ist in diesem Falle eine Platzverschwendung auf dem Dokument.
Mann sollte entscheiden können, welches Formularfeld auf das Dokument beim Stempeln aufgetragen wird und welches nicht.

Doppelklick mit 6.5 Notwendig um eine Instanz zu öffnen
In 6.1 konnte in der Workflow Aufgabenliste eine Instanz über eine einfachen Mausklick geöffnet werden. In 6.5 ist jetzt ein Doppelklick notwendig.
Das ist zwar nur ein kleiner Mehraufwand, der sich aber schnell multipliziert, wenn man mehrere dutzend Rechnungen am Tag bearbeitet.

Workflow Entscheidungen nicht vergrößerbar
In der Workflow Aufgabenliste sind die Entscheidungen nicht skalierbar. Wenn die Entscheidung einen längeren Namen hat, wird dieser abgeschnitten.

Zielbriefkorb für Import Jobs nicht im Template sondern im Desktop bestimmen
Beim Anlegen von Import Jobs in der Webadministration muss festgelegt werden, in welchem Briefkorb das Dokument landen soll. Es kommt häufiger vor, dass gleichartige Dokumente in verschiedenen Briefkörben (etwa Abteilungen) landen sollen. Dafür muss jeweils ein Template konfiguriert werden. Einfach wäre, dem Import Job im Desktop das Ziel mitgeben zu können.

Index image file properties
It would be great to be able to index the file properties of image (or all) files. This will allow our clients to store image files with properties coming from the camera or publishing apps and be able to search them through the Full Text search.

Enhance "document splitting" in DW Import to allow splitting on multiple readoutareas when 1 "OR" the other changes, not just "AND"
I would like to be able to split a report based on multiple pieces of data, when either 1 or the other changes. For example, a document containing a batch or "purchase orders from the customer" that is sorted by "customer #" and then "customer purchase order". A customer may have sent in multiple POs in the batch. It is always possible that 2 different customers could send in the same purchase order number in the same batch.
