Thank you for your idea.
Right now, there is no possibility to change this behavior. DocuWare is using a system functionality from Windows to send an email. Outlook is blocking access to the main window when using this system functionality.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Idee. Wir haben es unserer Sammlung von Ideen und Funktionen hinzugefügt und werden es weiter untersuchen. Wir können derzeit nicht genau sagen, wann diese Idee umgesetzt wird. Sobald wir weitere Informationen haben, werden wir den Status aktualisieren.

Ich verstehe, dass Docuware der Meinung ist, die blockierende Art der eMail Erzeugung wäre die Lösung mit den geringsten Nachteilen.
Das kann sich für Kunden durchaus anders darstellen, z.B. für uns. Wir würden daher gerne die Wahl haben, welche Art der eMail Erzeugung unsere (Web) Docuware Installation nutzt.
Bitte implementieren Sie die erwähnte Alternativen, sowie eine Auswahl dafür in unser Konfiguration.Jörg Karpa

While I do understand that Outlook is the root of this problem, as Outlook decides to block all but the email-in-creation form:
There are other functionalities to send an eMail, and those are not blocking Outlook. Blaim the extra effort on Microsoft, and implement an option to send via Interop.Outlook.
Side notice: Many companies using Outlook are using Microsoft 365 by now. It is a good time to implement an Office 365 API interface. That would not be blocking at all.
