Adjust parallel activity in workflow so it allows workflow to split into two separate and distinct paths
It would be helpful to have a workflow activity that splits the workflow into two branches. For example branch A could have its own activities, user assignments, notifications, etc. and then branch B could have its own activities. Once all activities in both branches were complete the paths would merge and the workflow would resume in a serial manner.

Name Feld kollidiert mit GooglePay
Wenn ich im Suchfeld bin, erkennt Google Chrome das "Name" Feld als Feld für eine Kreditkarte und schlägt mir immer vor meine Kreditkartendaten einzufügen.
Es wäre super, wenn das geändert werden könnte.

Option to control email notifications generated by Directory User Synchronization
Every time the Directory User Synchronization Desktop App creates a new User it will send an email to the user, requesting the user to set a DocuWare password.
Several problems with the current behavior:
The Tool does not contain any warning that this email is sent to the user.
When using Active Directoy Single Sing On, there is no need for the user to even set this password.
When running a test and a production system, there is no way to know which system the mail is from.

Workflow Validation Error message customizable
When creating a validation within a task in the Workflow Designer, one can only write a fixed error message. It would be way more user-friendly if this message was customizable just the same way as workflow fields are, e.g. a description field.
This would allow inclusion of global variables and index data in the error message, providing great flexibility and a way to point the user to their error more specifically.1 vote -
Datenblatt/Buchungsfahne/Allonge am Ende des workflow automatisch anhängen
Um am Ende des workflows sämtliche Entscheidungen und Daten sichtbar zu machen, wäre es hilfreich, wenn es die Möglichkeit gäbe, die Workflowhistorie als Anhang/Beiblatt/Allonge automatisch anzuhängen.
Natürlich nur optional, quasi als leten Schritt des workflows. Vorteil, im Dokument werden alle Entscheidungen und Daten sofort sichtbar, ohne die Workflowhistorie öffenen zu müssen, die teilweise mit mehreren Workflows hintereinander unübersichtlich sind.11 votes -
Add a small delay to Cloud FTP ingestion.
In some systems (including some copiers' scan function) there is a race to verify the file exists and its byte count is correct before the file disappears from the upload directory.
Currently, documents uploaded to the Cloud FTP service are sometimes snarfed up too fast. So by the time the directory listing refreshes, the file is gone. This prevents A) knowing all is well; B) resuming a failed upload; C) overwriting a failed upload. Instead, there is no file, so the verification fails and the file is uploaded again. This results in duplicates at the destination.

Eine Chat Funktion könnte den Kommunikationsfluss verbessern
Eine Chat Funktion, kann dazu führen das Fragen zu einem Vorgang im Archiv, auch direkt dort behandelt werden können, zusätzlich könnte eine Online Funktion zeigen, wer sich gerade im WebClient befindet. Nur so eine Funktion kann den Collaboration Gedanken vertiefen.

Anzahl der Dokumente in Listen ausblenden können
Die Anzeige der Anzahl der Dokumente in einer Liste (kleiner gelber Punkt mit Zahl) möchte ein Kunde individuell für jede Liste ein-/oder ausblenden können.

Hinterlegte User-Daten für öffentliche Formulare wieder speichern
Bis zur Version 6.12 (Ggfs. auch 7.0) wurden einmalig hinterlegte Daten für die Veröffentlichung von Formularen (Aber auch bei Autoindex und anderen Themen mit hinterlegten Passwörtern) permanent gespeichert.
Inzwischen ist es so, dass diese Daten bei jedem Speichern erneut eingeben werden müssen. Da es sich hierbei in der Regel um die Admindaten handelt, ist die Bearbeitung von Formularen nicht durch Fachabteilungen möglich, da bei jedem Speichern ein IT-Mitarbeiter das Passwort eingeben muss.
Bitte dies wieder rückgängig machen oder eine zentrale Stelle schaffen, wo einmalig ein User für alle diese Thematiken hinterlegt werden kann als Standarduser für den Sachverhalt.

Eine Farbblinde Kennzeichnung der Dokumente
Die Dokumente werden hier mit grün oder rot hinterlegt. Bei einer Farbblindheit wie bei mir (Rot-Grün-Schwäche) wird das Arbeiten mit diesem Programm deutlich erschwert.

Option to replace a stored PDF

Customer send a new version. Can we get a replace option. Right mouse click: load new version...
Or drag n drop on a stored document.

Add feature for user to suspend a workflow item at a task activity
Add option for an end user to suspend a workflow task activity for a configurable amount of time. Sometimes you know a task cannot be acted upon immediately for whatever reason - it takes a week to get processed docs back from a third party for example.

Workflow Designer - Changelog-Feld
Es wäre für die Arbeit mit mehreren Personen oder beim Arbeiten über einen längeren Zeitraum an einem Workflow sehr praktisch, wenn man ein Feld für eigene Changelogs und / oder ein zusätzliches automatisches Protokoll (welches beispielsweise alle Aktionen wie Änderungen an Aufgaben, Hinzufügen von Variablen, Entfernen von Verbindungen mitschreibt) mit den Änderungen zur Dokumentationspflege im Designer besitzen würde.
Beispielsweise als Pop-Up nach dem Veröffentlichen eines Workflows oder in der Workflow-Versionsübersicht als Auswahlmöglichkeit per Rechtsklick-Menü.
Man könnte den jeweiligen Changelog in der Übersicht unten links unter dem Punkt "Veröffentlicht: ..." mit einem "Mehr Anzeigen" oder "Changelog öffnen" Link hinterlegen.

Änderungsdatum als Vorschlag für Indexfelder im Web Client wie Dateiname, Dateityp, Erstelldatum
Im Web Client werden die Dateieigenschaften Dateiname, Dateityp und Erstellungsdatum zum anklicken angeboten. Hier fehlt mir das Änderungsdatum.
Konkreter Fall: Bilder sollen abgelegt werden. Ich habe mir diese auf meinen PC kopiert. Das Änderungsdatum entspricht jetzt dem eigentliche Aufnahmedatum, das Erstellungsdatum ist aber das Datum, an dem die Datei kopiert wurde. Im Archiv interessiert mich aber das Aufnahmedatum.2 votes -
Add manual entry feature to Smart Connect
In our environment, the OCR portion of Smart Connect has proven to be extremely unreliable. We would like to request a feature where you can enter a Smart Connect key combination and a dialog window pops up into which you can manually enter a search term or phrase (such as a patient ID) and have a search performed using that term.

Mainly because there will be new funtionality with the next DocuWare Version 7.4 in Smart Connect and I believe this functionality will help you solving your desired use case. There will be a functionality where Smart Connect will not rely on OCR but search for the element you have highlighted in the software.

Customize Cloud Login Page and New User Email
It'd be great to have a way to customize the Cloud login page so users cannot reset their passwords.
Also, the option to customize the "welcome email" new users receive.

Feiertrage importieren
Feiertrage sollten auch mit DocuWare 7.3 und höher via z.B. csv zu importieren sein.
Noch besser wäre die Einbindung von https://feiertage-api.de oder ähnlichen Diensten, sodass nur noch einmalig das Bundesland ausgewählt werden muss. Somit würde das jährliche Feiertage einspielen ganz entfallen.
