  1. Workflow Designer - Add a Workflow Fields tab to emails/Conditions

    I think it would be beneficial to allow information from a Workflow Field from a Task to be copied to an email/condition. I'm trying to write an automatic email based on either a "Yes" or a "No" from some Workflow Fields. Only fields marked "Yes" will be included on the email. Currently I have to copy the Workflow Fields to GVs and then create additional GVs for each of them each with a fixed entry of "Yes". Then make a condition that checks if the original GV matches the other GV. If it does, then it will be placed on…

  2. Background Process Status Screen

    It would be very useful if an admin can see, which background processes are executed right now, and, which are scheduled. Additional it would be great, if you can see, how many documents are not processed by ocr.

  4. Autoindex should log when run by file cabinet event

    Autoindex does not log when it runs based on a file cabinet event. When it is run manually or by a schedule, a log is created, but not when run by file cabinet event/triggers. We need to be able to log all Autoindex events.

  5. DocuWarePlatformApi should exist as a .NET standard library

    The DocuWarePlatformApi is currently a ".NET framework" library. It should exists as a ".NET standard" library for compatibility purposes.

  6. Biometric login

    Hello,
    We have customers that for totally different reasons need the possibility of biometric login:
    1) those whose staff is not prone to use user names and pws
    2) those that want to go above the security level of a pw
    I recommend having the option of biometric login.

  7. Develop a new connector from Kodak Capture Pro (Kodak Alaris is interested in this also)

    Kodak Capture Pro software used to have a connector to output indexed batches to DocuWare. That is no longer available. Many high volume scanning departments and service bureaus use Capture Pro. Kodak Alaris is interested in developing this again. A DWControl file format is probably the easiest and most easily understood way to accomplish this.

    Currently, using the docuware platform, it is not possible to delete users. This will be useful in case of bulk deletion.

  9. Voice support to search document or information

    As most PCs are laptops and all of these have microphone for videoconference and a lot of people use earphone or similar allways for meeting, why do not use the voice to look for a document, a practice or to move on in a workflow?
    With the introduction of A.I. in a DMS system it is no longer necessary to have structured data such as indexes. Then look for a document or go to the workflow steps just with the voice, it may be more efficient.

  11. Arabic text support with DocuWare forms

    When merging a DocuWare Form with PDF Form, and filling form fields with Arabic text, the text appears backwards in the generated PDF file and the letters are not connected. I appreciate if you can support Arabic and other RTL languages when merging forms.

  12. Finding and Exporting mass documents based on Excel list to local directories

    For audit purpose, it would be helpful to find some hundreds / thousands of invoices base on an Excel / CSV list, and export the documents found on a directory on a local PC. This is to hand over the document to the auditors or ministry of finance. Today a robot is doing it one by one, and this needs some days quarterly.

    Have Forms have the ability to create a formatted output, such as a letter from Index fields and store the output in the Cabinet. Similar to a merge file in Word or Excel.

  15. Storage Statistics Page

    We need to see current storage statistics data BY CABINET as image characteristics (File Count and size for each image) vary and therefore projecting storage consumption would be more accurate.

  17. Cloud Backup

    The Cloud is not infallible and no retention rules can satisfy requirements for all tenants. There should be a method to back up a tentant's own Docuware Cloud database and metadata for safekeeping.

    We use Datto SaaS Protection to preserve Office365 data via API. Docuware should offer something similar, but even a period FTPS dump or some such thing would be better than nothing

  18. DocumentName - Possibility to write back documentname from XML-File

    It should be possible to write back the "DocumentName" for example. "overdraftpdf000003" from the Archive xml-File to the database (archive-Field). The Reason in this case is to control the correct import of files.

  19. Attach file on the begin of existing Document via Platform API

    Multiple customers want to see the last file attached to the existing document as the first in the viewer. This would make sense for a method similar to the existing AddDocumentSections, which adds new sections to the begin of the document.

  20. Add User ID to Audit log tables

    As it stands, when a user changes their name in DocuWare, the Audit logs track their updates using the new name (under the "userInitiated" field). However, there is currently no way to connect what a user did before the name change to what they did after.

    For instance, if a user, "admin", changes their username to "admin2", there is technically no way, in the audit tables, to determine if these two names refer to the same user. Adding a user id column to the database would remedy this.
