Create a separate database for Heavy Tray Use and General User Trays and File cabinets.
When building a busy Docuware system the users who add large nubers of documents to the system can cause deadlock on the database the tray is attached to. Separating the Trays to their own DB reduces the opportunity for this problem. Also, if a large system where a number of workflows are running, placing groups of related file cabinets in their own DB instead of the DWDATA DB can speed up access and reduce the issues with timing of the DB. In short in a larger system MORE Databases=Reliability
Thank you for your contribution. This is already possible in DocuWare. You can create several database connection in the DocuWare Administration and use them for File Cabinets or document trays.
