Docuware should be able to keep track of all documents deleted from the file cabinet and by whom
Documents deleted in the file cabinet should be archived in a repository
This idea can be easily setup by an administrator. The procedure is the following:
1. Remove delete rights for all users exept the administrator
2. Add a stamp which sets the status field to e.g. “deleted”
3. Add a profile with index filter hiding documents with the status “deleted”
The document is then never deleted, but unvisible for normal users. The stamp will contain username, date and time.
If you want to remove the document from the file cabinet, you could additionally do the following:
4. Create another file cabinet with the same structure
5. Use the Export-Workflow to move the document from the source file cabinet to the new file cabinet.
