I encounter after scanning my images, that I am guessing how big my file size is. I have guessed wrong on many occasions and I then get an error "reached my maximum file size and cannot exceed 300,000 kb." There should be option that I can review how big my file size of the scanned images before hitting the upload button. That way I am not wasting my time of re-scanning the documents again.3 votes

In some cases a customer would like to automatically redact a zone on a group of documents during the import. This could very easily be an option in the Barcode & Forms Module.4 votes
When looking for imports all you need is the import and the folder. Adding a name is a duplication in steps.1 vote
To process batch scanning, it would be very helpful to have splitting by criteria option when having import identify PDF's that are coming in.2 votes
Thanks for your idea. Unfortunately we need some more information to understand the usage.
I currently have 4 imports with 300 to 9i000 files to be stored, When I press the Start ONCE, an import starts AND KEEPS GOING with no way to stop it. EVEN THOUGH the import says it is STOPPED it is not the RED STOPPPED but the IN IDLE stop....but is is still moving images. Then it give me a warning but the warning seems to mean nothing as Everything got stored....The whole thing is confusing.
So to fix it I would:
1: Change the NOT Stopped and waiting to do something to IDLE
2: ADD a STOP button or…1 vote
Access Windows meta information during indexing files in the Document Tray or in Import Configurations. Many files contain native data that can be valuable in the documents index, ex., for photos, timestamps, camera Id and etc. - this would be an advance equivalent to point and shoot for the operator and a huge enhancement to Import1 vote

Create a "Clean Up" tool which will allow the user to clean up the client machines for those documents that get "stuck" in processing. Much like cleaning up cache, we need to clean up pending documents that are stuck, restart services, and restart automatically. A tool would make this easier for the user to do this from their own desktop.4 votes
Tis is currently not planned, but the next versions should work better in this aea.
I feel like it would be a good idea to have the option to allow the scanner to automatically scan documents into Docuware when it detects that there are papers placed into the paper tray, or maybe even allow the user to assign a hotkey on the keyboard that will start the scanning process.1 vote
If a client has a program that requires a PCL driver, it would be nice if the Docuware Printer could emulate PCL printing.1 vote

Can you please describe this in more detail. What should be attached to what?
Maybe you can describe how you would use this feature.
Thank you very much
DocuWare Printer is designed to identify a document which determines how the document will be stored in DocuWare. I have several customers that use Tiffmaker to print random documents to specific user baskets. There is no way to do this other than sending to a default basket with DocuWare printer.4 votes
