2 votesWith the Platform API available in Workflows since DocuWare version 7.9 you can get this information by the endpoint "GET /Organization/UserByID?userId={UserId}"

Incorporate Linq and Regex classes from .NET in arithmetic expressions
This would solve so many problems like regex validation after storing the document or correcting text automatically. Also Linq is such a powerful API. If we could use something like FirstOrDefault() / All() / Distinct() and else. This would be such a great addition to Docuware, so many things could be done inside workflow without the need for external validation service.

Allow webservice activity to access its own platform via REST
Allow the Webservice activity to access the DW platform via REST API. From what I can see, you can already authenticate, and assign the status (200) to a GV. We will need to assign the cookie or token from authentication to a variable we can use in any further calls request header. This would make the workflow designer/manager a very powerful tool.

Add rejection reason field (RejectionReasonFieldName) when using Vidsigner centralized signing
There is no option for rejection reason field (RejectionReasonFieldName) when using Vidsigner centralized signing (Service method AddNewDocument) whitch is available when using remore signatures (AddNewDocumentRemote). Since the rejection reason is mandatory when rejecting a singning via centralized vidsigner portal (https://centralized.vidsigner.net/), we should be able to receive the reason given back to Docuware. This should be implemented.

Hiding a field in Docuware Form after it has been populated so a user can not see it but populated in the meta data of the file cabinet
It will be nice if a field when created and filled in the DocuWare Form should not be visible after it has been submitted. The word on this field should be populated in the file cabinet index field after it has been linked.
1 voteYou can already accomplish this if you use a "Merge Form". Then you can place all needed form fields on the template and all not placed fields will not be on the document, but only in index entries.

Authentication with SAML IDP
It is a need in these days for our customers that Docuware has a posibility to integrate and use SAML protocol for authentication and roles management.
It is a protocol very popular nowdays.

Add possibility to fill TABLE field from WF, autoindex or Forms + filter INSIDE Table field
Currently there is no way of creating data record with Table field in it or even fill existing data containing Table field and fill that.
Example: invoice might have more than one order and approver usually takes a look at each oreder (or receipt) corresponding to that invoice. Simple table field with prefilled data would totally make sense.
As of now you can only fill Table field using one click / intelligent indexing or just manually typing stuff.

Autoindex Keyword field HasChanged option
We are missing has changed condition for keyword fields and have to create worklows for what autoindex could have been used

Allow writing into table fields via Autoindex or Workflow 'assign data' step.
There should be the option to write into specific table field columns either within the Autoindex module or the assign data step within the workflow designer.
The use can for this is an end user would like to assign the same GL codes and amounts for recurring invoices. Instead of having to type out this information each time a "standard" invoice comes through, they would select an identifying option which would then kick off an Autoindex job or Workflow. From there we would assign the fixed GL data.
This would save the customer time as they would not have to…

Create a feature that allows you to require all checkboxes to be checked before submitting a form
Basically it would create the ability to make a task checklist that requires a user to check all of the boxes in the category before the submit button becomes available. This would make it so creating a task checklist for repeated tasks would be easier and quicker to create without having to add individual checkbox categories for each and every item on the list, which would leave large gaps between each one.

Change File Cabinet in WorkFlow
Create a Workflow in Workflow Designer.
After copying the Workflow, change the File Cabinet.This would allow creation of Workflow outside production Cabinet and then remove re-create error when adding to production Cabinet.

create a pause or wait function in workflow.
When something causes a lot of documents to start a workflow that send a mail message at the same time the mail server starts rejecting connections. This notably happens with pay stub notifications sent to employees that their pay stub is available. I can get around this by creating several workflows and start the workflow based alphabetically by the employees name but it would be nice if I could just set one workflow to pause a certain number of seconds before continuing based on the employee name.

Display Forms Dropdown Button on the main screen
The ability to show forms allocated to set roles and users on the screen would be great. In the same way you have search & tasks at the moment. This would save the long URLS or having to create short URLS.

We'd like to send email with annotation (we created a stamp with a bitmap signature ).

Indexing Assistance List Filter
Abitilty to add a filter an external List data source, the same way it is possible in the autoindex configuration.
This way, the Lists could be more precise and agile in DW.

MISSING Predefined field entry for lists and folders
I suppose it is a bug, but the ability to predefine an entry fo a field is missing in the LIST & FOLDER Index dialogs.
This is giving us many problems, as users import files directly to folders (both via web and explorer client).1 voteThank you for your contribution.
Your idea is already available.In every folder, you can define which store dialog should be used, and store dialogs have the functionality for predefined fields.

Outline modifications that were made to Index Entries
There is no way tell what changes were made when an Index Entry has been edited (e.g. If someone modifies an Index Entry, the system only lets you know who modified entry, but it doesn't outline modifications that were made.)
