MISSING Predefined field entry for lists and folders
I suppose it is a bug, but the ability to predefine an entry fo a field is missing in the LIST & FOLDER Index dialogs.
This is giving us many problems, as users import files directly to folders (both via web and explorer client).

Your idea is already available.
In every folder, you can define which store dialog should be used, and store dialogs have the functionality for predefined fields.

Thanks for quick feedback, but in our case (7.2), that is not an option... attached the difference between the normal archive dialog and the archive dialog in a folder... you can personalize which fields as well, but not PREDEFINE! or DEFAULT value.. sorry maybe a language misunderstanding. Hope you see what I mean in the attachments. This is very important to keep the index fields consistant independently of where the document is indexed.
