We rely on DocuWare (stamps and such) for many processes. It would be very helpful to have a reporting tool that would export scheduled reports (csv, etc.) so that we can actually use the DocuWare data on that document and its lifecycle. In particular we are looking to aggregate and then analyze data on how many documents of a certain type were stored, audited, approved, etc. during a particular time frame. We take that data and create a scorecard with it which is used for coaching employees, etc. A reporting tool would make it possible for staff to self-serve. Without the reporting tool the only way to get this data is either manually filtering a results list, manually exporting, and then repeating that process however often you need to analyze that data, or burdening analysts to write custom SQL queries. ("Booooo" to both inefficient options.)
Please provide a reporting tool! Maybe starting with scheduled results lists where a user can select what columns and then filter with a UI that looks like a search dialogue?
