  2. Standard Tiff vs Proprietary PDF

    I believe Docuware's move away from the standard tiff to a proprietary PDF is a huge mistake. I have customers that have strict compliance to only store documents as standard tiff images. Most of my customer have always used this format since many of them have used Docuware since 3.x, 4.x and 5.x. Now the viewers in the web client do not work well with tiff images and they are forced to use PDF.

  3. Adding an automatic 'Append' stamp when Clipping to an existing record

    I'd like to suggest the ability to select an admin setting that automatically attaches an 'Append' stamp when clipping a document from a tray to an existing record. We've found that adding an append stamp (Append in 5.1 & Clip in 6.6) is helpful in determining what, when, and by whom added to an existing record. Good for audit purposes and good for in-house records management. The issue I find is that not every user applies the optional stamp. I'd like to be able to make it automatic.

  4. Poder exportar facturas en formato XML

    Tal como en Alemania podemos exportar las facturas en PDF i Zugferd XML incorporado, aqui en españa este formato no nos sirve, deberiamos de poder exportar en formato XML directamente. es el que piden las administraciones publicas en sus facturas.

  8. FIX THE PROBLEM WHERE IT SAYS I'VE LOCKED MYSELF OUT OF MY OWN DOCUMENT.

    50 times a day, at least, I have to re-do things 2, 3, 4 times or more - stamps are lost, fields are blank again. It's been going on since the 'upgrade.' Time to fix this incredibly annoying, time wasting problem.

  9. Fix document is locked....by myself.

    a good dozen times a day, at least, I open a document, mark it up and hit save only to have all my markings erased because I've locked myself out of the document. Please fix this so every time I hit 'save' I don't have to hold my breath.

  10. WHy can I not print using internet explorer the stamps on my document? I have to switch my browser to google crome so frustrating!

    Stamps not printing on the document through IE 11. I have to switch to Chrome. So frustrated. We were told this issue would be resolved after our recent upgrade!

    Would like to have the ability to use a larger text font and perhaps ability to change the color of the text. Since upgrade the size diminished significantly and its hard to read to read now.

  13. Return to your previous easy to use set . This is impossible.

    I know that someone told you that this new G-Vault application would be easier but I find it cumbersome and difficult to navigate. I received an email indicating that I had docs to review and I cannot locate them on this new setup. I strongly suggest that you have your Managers meet with those of us who are using this new set. NOW!!!

  14. I suggest that in the WIndows Explorer Client, the button "Apply to Folders" should be enabled in Tools - Folder Options - View Settings

    Currently the DocuWare Windows Explorer view settings cannot be set for a folder level. Each folder must be set individually. The "Apply to Folders" button is disabled in Tools - Folder Options - View.

    Ability to have an offline mode, in case of Weak service or no Internet,one can still work with the system.And the workflow does not appear to be Intuitive for beginners

  16. Make an option to not display thousand separator in web client on a numeric field type.

    In the windows client there was a registry key we could add that would hide the thousand separator on numeric fields. User's who want a numeric field so that numeric sorting is possible do not want to see the thousand separator on an index such as an invoice number.

    Good morning:
    One of our clients is storing form pdf type documents. Yes they are stored properly, but not displayed from the display, returning the error. Propose an improvement for these documents can be viewed from the display. Thank you.

  18. Have document size in specific index field and allow to display it in result views

    As with the document name a new field can be specified that will contain the document size in MB. This field can be displayed in result views in order to determine if i.e. a specifc document can be send via email

  19. have different feild options for intelligent indexing or make customizable

    After expermenting with this feature I have relized that mapping feild names are very irregular. "Invoice IN, Invoice Out" and so fourth. I think they need to more to date relasitc terms such as; Shipped To, Billed To, and even a default fixed entry option for people who use the status feild in there workflow. Not being able to fully customize these option really leave it locked and almost un-useable.
