An option to check-in a new version of the document directly from the result list or an option to make an uploaded document in DocuWare as a version to another document will be an advantage.

An option like selecting one document from the result list and get a 'Check-In' or 'Update version' function will allow the users to select the new document from the local system and update it as a new version to the selected document. Also if there is an option to select the new version document from local system as well as DocuWare cabinet or tray, this will create more flexibility. Right now there is 'Check-in' available only after 'Check-out' option and only from a Document Tray.
