  1. We need to be able to delete a specific page from a store document. There should be an easy way to remove a incorrectly clipped page

    When a user clips a page to a stored document by mistake, there is no way to remove that clip page once the clipping process is completed. We need an easy way to remove/delete/drop a specific page from a store document

  2. all fields capitalized

    Please bring back the ability to force all fields being capitalized!

    This kind of practice of removing features that users have grown to depend on, almost caused a revolt in one of tech sessions at DocuWorld.

    Here's an example of what happens when changes aren't thought through completely and/or actual users aren't consulted first:

    The select list consists of Townships with only the first letter capitalized. Since upgrading to 6.12 this week, the user must type exactly in the case format of the select list, or they can't store doc.

    For instance, typing 'elkhart' brings up 'Elkhart' in the select…

  3. Versioning - Replace document

    An option 'Replace Document' using with Versioning should be interesting. Actually, versioning allows to modify index entries and modify or attach documents to the original one, but not to replace (delete) the original one.

    This is usefull for versioning when a new document becomes the latest needed documents.

    This is done by lot of competitors

  4. Our customers have to have the Placeholder function of the Field Masks included in the Web Client

    According to your FAQ #1858, Because of technical reasons it is not possible to display in Web Client placeholders in fields with field masks. Only in Windows Client placeholders can be displayed.

    A large portion of our customer base is comprised of County Clerk’s Office within the State of Indiana. The primary field that they use to look up documents is a 24-character Cause Number, which includes numbers and letters separated by dashes in a state-defined format.   5. Bring back the ability for field masks to auto format data.

    As an example if the mask is for a SSN, allow typing of 123456789 without the dashes. This needs to be for storing as well as searching and also point and shoot indexing

  6. Can you add a Skip feature when storing documents?

    After selecting a group of documents from a tray and dragging them to the store dialog, if I find I have an issue with a document and I want to leave it in the tray and not store it, I have to press cancel and re-select the remaining documents and again dragto the dialog. Can a skip icon be added so we can stop doing this and instead after storing the final document the screen returns to the documents I skipped?

  7. A store dialog with only pre-indexing option in Web Client

    A store dialog with only pre-indexing option is not working when you try to use this dialog with a document in the web basket.
    this option was available with previous releases 5.1 C SP1&SP2,
    We would like to see this feature returned starting v6.1 and above
    To figure out the need of this option,this is an example of production environment:
    Employees of claims department are preparing the pre-indexing documents in the web baskets and store later to the file cabinet when the claim is closed

  8. Remove preceding/trailing/in-between spaces in Store dialog fields

    We having issues with certain fields (eg VAT numbers) in Intellix Store Dialog, these fields are used in conjunction with Filtered Select Lists.
    Problem is - different companies write VAT fields different ways:
    GB123456789
    123456789
    GB 123 4567 89
    which is completely break our filtered select lists, since we query customer CRM for that VAT number, where all of it kept uniform, like:
    123456789

    We need ability to format post-Intellix fields in store dialogs - remove spaces, or certain characters using Regex or just list of characters to be removed, like:
    GB| |VAT (second item is blank space)

  9. Link documents manually

    Add a function to link manually two or more documents. We have a lot documents from different areas (Finance, Sales, Production etc.) but for the same product (movie trailer etc.). We want to search for the Trailer and want to see all documents about it.
    All the documents itself are indexed in docuware. Clipping is not a solution, because all the documents are indexed in the System.

  10. Have the option to Disable "Create Data Record".

    A client of ours would like to be able to disable "Create Data Record" for some users. According to DW support, you cannot disable this feature at the moment with 6.7.

  11. Have Desktop client check status occasionally of Desktop service and auto-restart it if stopped.

    I frequently get tickets from users getting "DocuWare Desktop Service is unavailable". This is almost always caused by the service being stopped for some reason and the user doesn't know how to restart it. Since the Desktop client can't do anything without the service running, it should automatically make sure the service is running every once in awhile.

    The clients have requested better way to replace a page in an existing document than having to copy and then select the order and clip or staple and store back.

  14. Allow Document Name field be populated even if the field is not visible

    Currently Index field which is set as DocumentName is populated with the filename being stored ONLY the field is visible in the store dialog,
    This should be happening even if the field is not visible. There is really no need for the user to see the field, but it still needs to be populating.

  15. It would be nice if there would be a total of all the pages in the document tray.

    Increasing the allowed limit per page for a document tray which is 100 Have client that needs to be able to select documents over 100 which she is not allowed to do right now because of the page limit in a document tray

  17. Create a shortcut key to enable the filter check mark in select lists

    in 6.6 I can fill out a store dialog only using the keyboard, but if I need to check the filter on a select list it requires me to use the mouse as well. This is slowing down data entry considerably. Please put a shortcut key in to enable the filter check box on a select list.

  18. Versioning with drag / drop from a tray

    It would be convenient to make a rise of revision of a document by dragging the new version from the tray on the document involved (in the same way to attach a document with paperclip).

  19. Restore the ability to Attach, Delete, or Skip when pre-indexing

    Previous versions of DocuWare (Windows Client) allowed the user to essentially staple pages to a document when in the Storage Mask. The user would select a group of documents from a Basket and drag them to a store dialog, and click the pre-indexing check box. When clicked, this would enable three new buttons, Attach, Delete and Skip. This allowed the user to construct documents by attaching, deleting or skipping pages while indexing, without having to go back to a basket or tray. This was a big time saver in the Windows Client, and a big time waster when trying to…

  20. Allow for reset of pre-indexed fields in Document Tray

    When using the autofill indexing to store multiple documents in the document tray to a file cabinet, using the "Reset" button does not clear all fields in the store dialog. Understanding that this may be by design, there should be an option to reset all fields or just the fields that don't apply to the pre-filled index fields.
