Delete source documents in export workflows FC version management
Return the feature delete source documents in export workflows for file cabinets that use version management.

The option is available, if the source and target file cabinet, both have version management enabled and the option “Transfer versions” is checked.

In 6.12, when you create a new field, il is automatically add in every dialog box.
We need the choice to add it or not like in old admin or we lost a lot of time when we configure DocuWare.7 votesThank you for your contribution.

New fields are only added to the standard dialogs. All the custom dialogs will not display the new field. -
Automatically adding fields to ALL dialogs

Forcibly, by the way. I have customers that have 15+ dialogs, lists, etc - and every time I add a field, I have to remove this new field from every single dialog my new field doesn't pertain to.
Can we please bring back the functionality of choosing which dialogs a new field should belong to? Thank you9 votesThank you for your contribution.

Workflow Designer: Stamp customisation
We would like the possibility to:
1: Make the background of stamps flat and not transparent in the workflow designer.
2: Have the possibility in the tasks to choose which indexes of the forms are displayed in the stamp.

Copy a worfklow from a File Cabinet to another
We are working with several File Cabinets, with very common and complex workflows in the Workflow Designer. Moreover, we use DocuWare in different environments (development, test and production).
We would really like the possibility to copy a workflow from a file cabinet to another, and/or the possibility to export and import workflows between servers.

Default the storage location for a Document Tray to a Document Tray storage location
Currently, when creating a new Document Tray, the storage locations are hidden in the advanced section. On DocuTray creation, unless the advanced section is opened and scrolled down, the DocuTray location is not seen. It may default to another non-DocuTray location in the drop-down list and cause failure late when the DocuTray is used. I recommend removing all non-DocuTray storage locations from this list - or at least, default to one of the DocuTray locations.

Workflow Designer -> Assign Data -> Allow List Variables to be assigned more than once
There are two ways I have found to assign list variables:
1. from database query which returns multiple rows
2. from multiple assignment statements without the "replace" box ticked.If 1. is not available, the only way to accomplish is to have a series of Assign Data activities, one per item in the list, since the List Variable is no longer available from the choices of variables to assign data, once it is used the first time.
Creating a loop is also possible, and so far this is the best way I've found, along with using some <ugly> nested VBA…

Workflow Designer -> Assign Data -> Allow Reordering assignment statements
Because of scenarios like a changing workflow definition or project scope, or simply thinking of a new approach to a workflow can disrupt assignment dependencies. Once that happens, then delete all of the subsequent dependent assignments.
It's basically not being able to insert a line in your code. Just delete everything that follows the insertion point, then do the work over again.
Ability to Reorder assignment statements within an Assign Data task can fix this.

Allow Filter by External Data Source to be for empty and non-empty fields.
It would be nice to be able to tell autoindex workflow to ignore all entries where a field is blank when interacting with an external data source.

Need ability to record license activity history
Would like to have a way to see license activity history.
It is more like an audit trail report where for a specific period of time, I can view the licenses that were in use, with their respective length of time and usernames.

With the new auditing functionality it is possible to log all logins and logoffs from users so you can create your own reports. -
autoindex match
It would save time if you could limit the number of rows that need updating on an autoindex workflow if you could also select records where fields don't match as well as fields that do match in the AutoIndex Definition Match Code. You would require at least one matching field.

Simple Start up Template
Going in to using Docuware with zero experience, I would suggest give new clients a simple start up template to fill out. They could list Main File Cabinets needed (in outline format) and with those (also in outline format) the index headings they would like. Having filled those out would give a clear view of HOW the system would be set up, and prior to actual set up of the Stores, changes could be made. Not using the program at all prior to training, it's hard to visualize how it will work. The more the customer is familiar with the…

Add possibility to exclude pictures in mail
It would be helpful if there was a possibility, in connect to mail, to exclude images in the corpse on the email, like signature images, that are automatically stored attached to the mail

It would be good if you could use multi-column select lists in DocuWare Forms.
For example you select a supplier in the first option then only the parts you can buy from this supplier are displayed in the second input option

DW Forms dynamic sections
With multiples sections defined in the form, ability to show/hide sections by clicking the title or depending of previous choices.

Dynamic Select consistent throughout the product
Just as they are available in Dialogs we need access to Dynamic select lists in both FORMS and WORKFLOW ENGINE

Allow entry of multiple field into a Keyword or User LIST global variable
Currently adding a GET DATA lookup you can only add 1 entry to either a KEYWORD or USER LIST global variable.
Example: USER LIST VARIABLE (APPROVERS) should be populated with two index fields (Field1, Field2)
The only way of accomplishing this is creating 2 different GET DATA tasks
