Build Dynamic Forms with DW Forms
Is there a way to build dynamic forms with the forms component of DW?
E.g. someone enters a serial number, and depending on that serial number, we show specific information related to that serial number.

With upcoming version 7.6, the forms module will support "Multi Column Select Lists". This means:
- Assign multi-column-select-lists to dropdowns
- configure filters between dropdowns
- autofill a dropdown in case filtering leads to only one remaining value

I think this will be a very useful feature. Technically and Commercially this will be an asset for DocuWare and our customers.
We could generate an enormous added value through immediate accessiblity of information via data lookup in an external source. I think of ERP/CRM or other database with master data...

That would be a nice feature.
I'm thinking of 3 events that can be called. FormLoad, FieldOnChange and FormOnSubmit.
Or even maybe a command button that can do certain things within the form.
And even more interested would be that we can do the data lookup in an external source (ODBC).
