Ability to Force Selective Select List
Currently when storing, you cannot force the Filter box to be active.
It would be good to be able to force the Filter checkbox to be active on either specific dialogs, or all dialogs.
The only way to force values from selective select list is Validation, but Validation does not control the select list dropdown, only rejects back choices.
Thank you for your contribution. Your idea is already available in the product.

DWProductMgmt said it perfectly. My original post for this feature was for the "user can turn filtering on/off" option, which gave our clients exactly what they want :)

Hello Mr. Coley,
you have to set this up for each field within a Storage Dialog. It is not possible to set this up for the full Dialog or File Cabinet with one click.
To set up a filter for you field, go to your File Cabinet, select your Store Dialog and click on the field you want the Filter to be active.
Once you are in the field properties click on "Show filter configuration" at the bottom:
There you can define the filter (which other fields are relevant for filtering). There is also a check box "The user can turn filtering on or off in the Web Client" If this checkbox is not activated only the filtered select list is available. -

It would have been nice for Docuware Product Management to post a link to some documentation here.
