DocuWare administration application and fully qualified domain name (FQDN)
Currently, DocuWare administration application is not able to connect to the DocuWare server if we mention the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the DocuWare server instead of Server IP Address in the Docuware Administration login screen.
We are mentioning the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the DocuWare server because the PC from which the user is accessing Docuware administration application is a part of a different domain than the server.
It would be great if we can mention the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the DocuWare server instead of the IP address in the Docuware Administration login screen.

Thank you for your idea.
Unfortunately, due to several factors we are currently not able to plan this idea for a future version. We are completely concentrating on our web based configurations in the future. And in my opinion, the DocuWare Administration should be able to work already with the name. We use this for our cloud customers.
