General Email - Import delay on attachments
I have a client who is using the General Email option to import attachments from a mailbox. What we are noticing is that the PDF attachments are intermittently uploading as corrupt files even though in the mailbox, the PDF is perfectly fine to open. I also confirmed this by manually importing that PDF from the mailbox into Docuware which works fine.
I reproduced this behavior on the folder import configuration and found out that it occurs when a large file is scanned into the folder and Docuware imports it without waiting for the file to finish being transferred to the folder. To overcome this, I added a delay to the import and make sure Docuware only imports files older than a certain time. This option resolved my issue on the folder import.
It would make perfect sense to have this option available on the email import as well as I think this would resolve the issue of the import configuration importing corrupt PDF files.
