  1. Allow using a PDF as a public-facing form

    Sometimes, customers want to use the formatting from an externally created form for users to input data into DocuWare, especially if the form is being transferred from print or another web form service. Using an already created PDF, and creating fillable sections similar to what currently exists in the Merge Form menus could help.

  2. Increase column limit for Tables in DocuWare Forms

    Currently, the Table item in DocuWare Forms can only support up to 12 columns per item. This can be inconvenient when an existing file cabinet has a table field with more than that number of columns.

  3. Support for ISDOC e-Invoice variant of EU standard EN 16931 (EU Directive 2014/55/EU)

    Docuware supports some EU variants of e-Invoicing.
    Please add support variant for Czech Republic called ISDOC

    ISDOC is also like others based on XML.
    It can be 3 types:
    XML file with extension (suffix) *.isdoc
    XML file with attachment (archived in ZIP) and extension *.isdocx
    PDF file with embedded XML data, extension *.pdf

    Extension ISDOC is similar to XRechnung variant.
    Extension PDF is similar to ZUGFeRD.

    Suppliers can choose if they send to customer *.isdoc or *.isdocx or *.pdf.
    If supplier sends ISDOC compatible invoice, most of them use *.isdoc (some use *.pdf with embedded XML data).

  4. API call to start a workflow

    We should be able to trigger workflows via API with a trigger reserved for API calls. The WF would return its instance ID at the end of the call.

  5. Manage securely multiple Cloud as reseller

    As a reseller, we would like to be able to manage multiple Clouds securely i.e. connect to a management console with our reseller's personal accounts, then connect to our client's instance
    This would allow to track down who in our team access the client's cloud and forbid other means of access

  6. Availability of an External Interface for Learning

    Currently, in order to learn a document, we need to log in to the Natif.ai service, upload the document, and perform the learning process in advance.
    We can store many documents in DocuWare and populate them with the correct index.
    We would like to use this DocuWare information for learning on Natif.ai.

  7. easy way to seen last login time on users. perhaps in the user view.. and be able to sort on this

    Add the field "last login" with a date from when the users was last logged on to the system.. in the User admin view.. in the list but also so that you can sort on this. So that you easily can see which users uses the system.

  9. Ability to embed external links in the Web Client to be provided.

    DocuWare's unique settings and work manuals are prepared for each user. This function is necessary to access these.

    For example, providing a feature that allows users to freely embed hyperlinks next to the "DocuWare" logo in DocuWare Web Client solves this problem.

    Users can click the link to view the original operation manual whenever necessary.

    "Request for a Fixed User List Including First Name and Last Name (Internal Select List) in User Profiles"

    The list of currently available users to select from is displayed as a list of login names.
    For example, in a workflow, when selecting the next assignee on a task, there is a risk of making a mistake with the login name, so we would like to have a list of users that includes the first name and last name.

  12. Choose what to export as preconfigured solution

    Having the possibility to choose which file cabinet/parts of the configuration we want to export as a DWBUC file. Right now, when we export, it's the whole configuration no choice.

  13. Validation of “changes” in index dialogs via a validation service, such as with DocuWare 6

    Unfortunately, with DocuWare 7.xx it is still not possible to validate changes made in index dialogs using a validation service, as only the changed data is reported to the service, not the index data that was in the index dialog before the change. The validation service cannot therefore react to index changes in certain fields, but can only analyze the new data to be written.
    If, for example, you want to write a validation that only allows a document status to be changed to the value "paid" if the status was previously "approved", this is not possible, as the service…

  14. Automatic clipping

    Automatic clipping of documents based on a common predefined index field to avoid users having to manually clip documents together because of indexing the documents; usually documents are stored separately and would appreciate if the system can auto clip based on a criteria defined in the designer or auto index configuration.

  16. JavaScript in Form Design or Connect to API

    Support of JavaScript or External API when using Form or Designing Form. Use Case Example Expense Report . When User Fills in several line items with Amount Fields. Need a Field which Displays the Advance or Claimed Amount in Words when they fill in the form. Example Total Amount requested in words. Five Thousand, Six hundred Dollars and 50 cents. Which can be achieved using JavaScript or connecting to API.

    A new type of activity allow to jump to a task present inside the workflow from a trigger (index value).
    this will avoid having multiple successive conditions task to distribute flows inside a workflow.

    Can we look at offering SFTP instead of unsecured FTP? There are many opportunities where i have sensitive or confidential information contained in .csv files that need to be processed but cannot be due to the lack of security in this area.

  19. Delete multiple groups/roles from UI at once

    There are cases where an organization may have many groups that they need to delete. Right now, the only way to delete from within DocuWare (including via the API) is to delete each group one-by-one. An option to bulk delete groups using user-specified criteria would save a lot of time.

  20. Add the ability to send Email Notifications to a Group/Role

    Emails in the Workflow Designer can be sent to a role, however this is in the case of sending one email per document that goes through the workflow.

    We use Email Notifications as a way to send one email out that lists multiple documents to ensure users are not receiving a mass number of emails. In this case, it would also be helpful to be able to send to a Group or Role from here.
