  1. Add another or modify the 'fixed element' image field type to allow for an end user to upload a digital image of their signature

    You currently have the ability to 'sign' forms or to send a form for signature through a signing service. What would be nice is to have the ability to put an 'image field' on a form where a person filling out the form could upload a digital copy of their signature which could be applied as their signature on that form when they don't like using the 'signature' field to try to sign from a computer and the customer does not use a signing service like DocuSign... This way you could give someone a choice to sign the document or…

  2. label users and groups as created in DocuWare or imported from the sync tool or identity provider and show created date

    I would like to see if a user/group was created in DocuWare or via a sync. The date created would also be nice. I have had auditors ask for this information. It would also aid in management.

  3. Send documents as base 64 encoded in web service activity post request

    Add capability to convert a document to base 64 encoding and add to json payload in workflow web service activity. Many APIs do not support multipart form data.

  4. Update cloud URL of web service when efd file is imported

    When importing a workflow into another DocuWare Cloud environment, web service components still reference the original cloud URL.

    Currently, each web service within the workflow has to be reviewed and updated manually after import, which is time-consuming and error-prone.

    It would be very helpful if the cloud URL of web service components could be automatically updated (or mapped) during the workflow import process, or at least if there were an option to update them in bulk.

    This would significantly improve maintainability and reduce manual effort, especially for partners and customer success teams managing multiple environments.

  5. Add the posibilty to fill keyword fields (German Stichwortfeld) via forms

    When indexing documents via forms, I can only populate a keyword field (not sure about the correct English term for the German "Stichwortfeld") with content from a single text field. Please provide the option to combine content from multiple text fields into one keyword field, or—ideally—allow keyword fields directly in the form.

  6. Add permission to assign licenses in a function profile

    I would like to see a separate permission to assign user licenses. It is currently only available to organization administrators. Org admin role gives a user full access to configure the entire system. I have IT people that manage licenses that do not need full system access.

  7. Request to Improve DocuWare Field Mask Validation to Detect and Reject Spaces

    In the definition of DocuWare field masks, it is currently not possible to reject space characters.

    According to the following community forum post, field masks are unable to properly evaluate or detect spaces.

    We would like to request an enhancement to the DocuWare field mask definition so that it can include logic capable of detecting and validating inputs that contain spaces, such as half-width (ASCII) spaces.

  8. User Sync to AD should allow you to create user name using email address.

    Currently in User Sync v2 there is no way to use the "mail" attribute to create the Docuware username...this prevents 3rd party authentication such as OKTA from working correctly based upon how a company is using OKTA and how they have it licensed.

  9. Forms select list filter on text field

    Sometimes data in a select list shouldn't be visible for certain users. It would be great if it would be possible to filter a select list with a value entered in a text field on the form. For example in HR managers are allowed to see their own employees but aren't allowed to see all employees. Therefor advanced filtering is needed to filter on logged on user.

  10. Add Clip/Unclip/Staple/Unstaple endpoints to Power Automate connector

    Power Automate is great to handle multiple documents at a time (e.g. list all files in a tray & do something with them) ; it is missing some existing endpoints such as clip / unclip / staple / unstaple

  11. Add the ability to configure or turn off automatic refresh timing for Task Lists

    Allowing task lists to refresh at certain intervals(as in the Lists module) or allowing only manual refresh, would allow customers with large amounts of tasks to avoid regular periods of delay while refreshing.

  13. Administration license (named licence) should be included without the need to have an etxra license

    HI,

    When a customer buys a 4 user license or other packages, why do we need to use one named license for an Administration user to build/configure the system. Typically, we as the seller are used to build and support the system and it's an unnecessary conversation to have to explain to the customer that if they need all 4 named licences, they need to buy another one for us to support them.

  14. Allow Web Form Fields Data for Drop Down lists to be duplicated automatically

    It would be great to be able to use an external select list that can be connected to more than one file cabinet to pull/filter data. Eg. I choose an Employee number that pre-populates other drop down lists based on the data in an employee file cabinet but I also want to be able to filter data from another file cabinet eg. their employee number links to a record and I want to filter the data in that file cabinet to prepopulate/filter the data for other drop down fields attached to this select list.

  15. Amending DocuWare Document Tray Copy Tool

    Regarding document trays, when the "Copy" button is selected, the users are not copied over from the tray. The copy button seems pointless when you can just create a new tray and direct this to the same cabinet.

  16. Stamps: option to open automatically pages on a document

    I can add stamp on several pages in a document, but I have to manually change the page to apply it.
    It would be nice to have an option like "After stamp is applied - Document behavior" => "Open next page automatically".

  17. form validation

    Currently, I cannot use validation with drop down lists to compare with another drop down list. These drop down down fields are conneced to multi-column select lists and filter each other. You can for standard fields but not drop down lists. FOr example, I have a customer who selects a town and then selects a key. They will do this a few times on one web form. I want to validate that each key number on the web form is unique but that isn't possible for drop down lists. Please look into offering this. It would be a great feature…

  18. Make "WF_TASK_LINK" & "WF_TASKLIST_LINK" available as a workflow system variables

    It would be advantageous if the link to the workflow task could be saved in a variable for further processing. This would allow users to open the respective workflow task or workflow task list directly from external applications.

    DocuWare currently only offers this in the email workflow task notification.

    The following two links would also be useful as workflow system variables:

  19. The automatic storing option must use the store dialog that is assigned per document tray, not the default store dialog as currently

    Using intelligent indexing in three document trays with three store dialogs, each with its own document type, after extracting the indexes per document tray, it must click store automatically to save time with the bulk of bills when storing, but this will use the default store dialog defined in the file cabinet and will not use the store dialog that is already set in the document tray!

  20. Table Field available in Merge Forms

    We would like to have the option of adding Table field from the Form Designer in Merge form. Or the system should be able to use both Web form and Merge form option in case the above request is not possible.
