Change Password at Next Login
It would be incredibly handy to have a feature similar to Windows where a DocuWare administrator could change a password for an end user, and then have that user prompted to change password at next login.
Thank you for your contribution.
Your idea is available with version 7.
Within the new user management you can send out an email to the user to change set the password.

In the meantime, can you change the email that the user receives `when selecting Forgot Password from text to html so that the URL can be clicked? The text format requires a copy and paste that users do not always get right and adds unnecessary work.

DocuWare has changed a bit since this request in 2015, but was thinking of a URL that brings them to a prompt to change their password and entering in the old password to verify change.
All in all, the "forgot my password" feature took care of this awhile ago.
Usually we will want them to change the password to their own without I.T. needing to set something and sent it out on email.
Also, a reminder in an email form is generally postponed and forgotten.

How about even the ability to set a user's password for them? Google's G Suite provides this functionality.
