  1. User Synchronization Tool - Default Groups to "Skip During Synchronization"

    Short description ...
    The tool should default groups in the group matching tool to "Skip During Synchronization" instead of trying to create new groups for every one.

    Long backstory:
    I am migrating from Docuware On-Premise to Docuware Online and the User Synchronization Tool is a huge step backwards. My AD structure is such that my DocuWare groups are in an OU with approxmiately 300 other security groups. During the setup wizard it allows me to specify OU containing my groups ... on the match screen it then wants to create over 300 new Docuware groups when I really only want…

  2. Adding an attribute to the user dictionary

    Add attributes to users (in the DocuWare dictionnary) and be able to use them in workflows or index profiles. For example, if we add a "Line manager" attribute, it could be used in Workflows to assign a task to the manager of the connected user.
    Another example, a "Company" attribute would allow the documents of a company of the logged-in user to be filtered in the index profiles.

  3. Allow selection of location to write temp files for Request container

    When creating Request containers, the files are written to the default temp directory for DocuWare. If the Request cabinet is very large, the C:\ drive can fill up and crash. Need to be able to select an alternate location to write the temp files.

  4. Have server name in admin tool for non admin users.

    For users that don't have access to the system configurations, there is no way to know what server you are connected to once in the admin tool. Client has a test system and production. Yes, they have to type the server name in to connect but they want something, either top bar or bottom bar, to state which server they are connected to. That way if they get distracted, they don't have to log out and then log back in to figure out which one they are connected to.

  5. incomprehensible Restriction on Stamps

    If I have an approval stamp and I name it APPROVE and assign it to a single file cabinet and user group. I can NEVER create another stamp that has the display name APPROVE again. Even for a different file cabinet, even for a different user group. -Because of the backwards way you guys treat DISPLAY NAME vs NAME when configuring a stamp, I cannot have a duplicate DISPLAY NAME, really? This is never the case ANYWHERE! What if I wanted to assign another approval stamp to another set of users. I then have to name that stamp something else,…

  6. Restrict access to DocuWare Configuration to non-administrators

    Even if a user does not have any profile functions, they can still access the notifications and Stamps functions of Docuware configuration.
    It is best to deactivate the "Configuration" button in the Profile menu when the user has no rights over function profiles.

    'Document ID' field as this is always a sequential number within the cabinet, only for documents that have been stored. As there is option of automatic numbering which assigned numbers when we open document for store but this should only assign numbers when document stored in cabinet.

  9. User Management - Configurable Org Units

    We have almost 200 users in DWare and would like additional fields available to each user account that can be used as org units or filtering when managing user accounts. I really want to add Dept and workgroup as additional sorting and filtering on the USER MGT PAGE. If you extended either ROLE or GROUP that already exist, that would be OK but really looking for labeling and filtering on that page.

  10. Cloud Storage Status Page

    We use DWare across multiple business units within the organization and as such need the ability to drill into storage use BY CABINET and not simply for our overall account. We use this data to track performance and for dept chargebacks and forecasting when business changes impact storage use.

  12. Automatically reassigned inactive cloud user to a newly created user that does not have license

    A newly created user should be able to login into DocuWare Cloud automatically because there will always be an inactive user in the cloud licenses provided.

  13. connect to outlook exclude a extension

    It will be really important to exclude the extensions of the files you would like to exclude. For example, if you do not want to upload '.docx' files, it will be very important.
    Many customers need this to save a lot of space in the cloud.

  14. Make licence assignment page searchable by users

    When you are in a administration view, managing licences, it would be nice to have an option to search users by name. If you can't have UI for that, at least enable browser search function, so we can quickly find the person who needs licence change.

  15. New password request email in the user's language

    Currently, when a new user is created, a request email is sent to set the password in the language of the administrator who creates it.

    We suggest that in the new user registration form, the user's language selector is included, and that the email is sent in the language selected for the user.

  16. When doing the AD sync, currently there is not a way to Update the Docuware LoginID when that changes in AD.

    AD uses the SID as the unique identifier so that the login name can be changed. There are many valid reasons that an AD login changes, however, Docuware requires that user account be deleted and recreated with the new ID. This is not a big deal for the occasional change, but what about when the organization wants to change ALL the AD Logins for the entire organization? I have more than one organization considering this right now.

  19. Active Directory Network ID Adjustability

    Allow admin's to specify user NetworkIDs in the sync settings or change the AD sync to also pull the domain's shortname. Sync worked for us, but it pulled the fully qualified domain name rather than the short domain name. Users were synced and created successfully, but their NetworkID doesn't match the Windows session username which uses the short name of the domain.

  20. Allow Search Dialogs to be configured for select list only

    We currently have an implementation with an external multi-column select list and we have implemented this in several store and search dialogs and we have setup filtering on the columns of the select list in these dialogs. In Store dialogs we have " The user can only use entries from the select list to set the field" option to force users to perform data entry / indexing only using the filtered select list values.
