  1. Email Notification Link via Workflow

    Currently Workflow Designer does not allow you to generate the link name from variables with in DW only so the only option is to hardcode it.

    It would be nice to be able to use the filename and a date as the link in the email being received by end users. It gives more meaning that hard coding the word document and then followed by variables

  2. List which Document Processing Configurations have Automatic Identification enabled

    In the Configuration page, when viewing the list of Document Processing Configurations, it would be helpful if there was a column that showed which configurations had Automatic Identification enabled.

  3. Allow adhoc input for the AD Attribute I want to Synchronize with the User Sync Tool

    In the Cloud Active Directory Sync tool there are only two choices for what attribute to sync to DW for the user name: sAMAccountName and userPrincipalName and they are hard coded into the tool.

    I suggest that the attribute be a fill in box that allows me to select the attribute that I want to sync much like the on premise one does. I have accounts that use the employeeID attribute to be their DW username so that a filter can be set up for them to only see their document when they log in.

  4. Add a feature to automatically update the xml files in file cabinet to match database changes

    It would be very helpful if .xml files were kept in sync with the DocuWare index database automatically.

    As it stands now, if there is database corruption that exists beyond the timeframe of database backups, any index edits can be lost.

    This feature would also help future upgrades and data moves from having corrupt or missing index data. We recently discovered a file cabinet with database and xml issues. It was caused by some improper handling of past upgrades. The issues could have been minimized by syncing the xml files with the database.

  5. Allow Dynamic date ranges for Document Relations

    Add the ability to add dynamic date ranges in Document Relations. In other words, add the ability to show documents where the store date is within the last 30 days or a custom index field like due date is within the next 30 days.

  6. Notifications to show value of a certain field

    we have the "Show value of this field as a link" option in the message section of a notification.

    I want to be able to add just the value of the field without a link embedded to it.

  8. Have to get back ability to determine total number of documents in a file cabinet.

    First the developers take away the ability to increase the number of documents in a result list. Now we can't even use 'Check FullText Status' to get a total amount of documents in a file cabinet.

    Thankfully we only have 1 customer who uses DocuWare-Online, so at least we can query the database for most of our users.

    When you migrate a customer to the cloud, there is no way to check to make sure if the file cabinets match when done.

  9. WF Steps as templates

    Once I've created a WF step, ex., Task or Assign to, etc., I'd like to copy it and use it as a template for use in later steps in the overall WF. Please add this feature.

  10. I suggest you add a draw box

    Before Docuware we used paper. We had a form that had a space on the back where we could draw a diagram. This was used for maintenance to setup rooms for events so they know where to put tables and things. I tried to use the signature field but making it big caused the form to puke.

  11. Google Analytics OR use of analytics report to track the users

    Hello,

    Our organization uses google analytics for reporting on all our websites and applications. We would like to incorporate DocuWare into this reporting. Is this available already or planned?

  12. Audit Log Program

    I know that you can turn on audit logging for access, delete, edit etc.. of documents, but it is put in notepad files and get overwritten and difficult to search. Would be a great feature to have an application that does this.

  13. An Index Field can be created so that document stored in the file cabinet can be automatically numbered e.g fin-001, fin-002, and next doc.

    I want a situation whereby document given a unique id e.g fin-001, fin-002 should automatically store the next document as fin-003 when an index field is created for this purpose.

  14. Stamp assigned to a user overrides no 'can edit index entries' right

    If a user is not granted 'Can Edit Index Entries' FC right, but is assigned a stamp that changes index fields - this should work, so the user can use the stamp, but still can't edit index entries via info dialog.
    Currently, if user has no 'Can Edit Index Entries' but has 'Apply new stamp' - the stamp can't be applied if it changes indices.

  15. Disabling "Allow Filtering" should not also kill select lists

    In DocuWare 6.9 File Cabinet Search Dialogs, unchecking the "Allow Filtering" option also disables all select lists for that field except for the Standard Select List. Why? When the option is checked in the Admin Tool, it is enabled by default in the DW Web Client. This forces users who use the drop down list to first uncheck the "Filtering" option in the index field while searching in order to select an entry whenever the Standard Select list is not being used.

  16. Add tool to allow use to create their own signatures just like they are able to create their own baskets.

    Allow users to create their own signatures much like they can create their own baskets without having to go through the DocuWare Administrator.

  18. Change the "is different than previous page" Split option to not split if the zone is empty.

    I have had multiple occasions where the first page of a new document has a customer number and the subsequent pages do not. I need a way to say that if the zone has a number in it that is different from the previous, but NOT EMPTY then split before that page. Currently, the “different than previous” option considers a blank zone a new document and this does not work for these scenarios.

  19. More options in "Show User Rights" in admin tool

    It would be nice to see more rights in the "Show User Rights" menu in the admin tool. Examples of desired rights would be Document Trays, Stamps, templates, assigned configurations (user/admin rights)...
