For other users that need OSX compatibility :
We've been able to make Desktop Apps on Apple computers working with M1/M2 chips (it works too on Intel Chips so far with a classic Windows OS - not ARM -).
First install Parallel Desktop App (see in the AppStore) or any other emulation program, and install a Windows ARM OS version (Windows 11 ARM for example : it can be purchased on microsoft's store on the web). Then you can force the manual installation of Docuware's Desktop Apps by following these steps :
1. Open the Windows Files Explorer
2. Navigate to : C:\Program Files (x86)\DocuWare\Client Setup\
3. Make a right-click on the Client Setup Directory and choose "Open in Terminal"The Windows' Terminal launches and you should be here :
PS C:\Program Files (x86)\DocuWare\Client Setup>4. Type (or Paste) this Windows' terminal command :
.\DocuWare.Setup.Client.Cmd.exe install --auto --server=https://[your organization docuware's url]/ --orgId=[your org ID]
(replace datas between brackets with yours)It will install all the Docuware Desktop Apps on your Windows' OS emulated (including Workflow Designer...)
At the Windows's OS launch, an error appears about the Windows Client Server, but you can close it : we've seen no problem at all when using any of the Desktop App installed so far with this method.
Hoping it will help anyone who's waiting for Docuware's compatibility with Apple's computers.
PS C:\Program Files (x86)\DocuWare\Client Setup>4. Saisir (ou copier/coller) la commande suivante :
.\DocuWare.Setup.Client.Cmd.exe install --auto --server=https://[your organization docuware's url]/ --orgId=[your org ID]

Mac OS compatibility is a critical feature for us too (french non-profit organization for 200 handicapped persons, multiples services, and governmental financial dialog). We just came into DocuWare andwe are really disappointed/angry to see that this so called "cloud/web based" solution is in fact so downgraded without the ability to install Desktop Apps.
Please do something asap for this, which would be a great gesture toward Apple community and potentially new business' customers.

Thank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.
You can use a condition before the task and then use two different tasks. This seems to be a little more complicated, but structures the workflow easier readable and makes the single tasks less difficult to configure.

Hi,
We needed security too with public forms.
Here's a tip we use so far to check if someone is allowed to use one of our public forms :
Create a File Cabinet with 2 fields : one for Users' Name/LastName (or any other ID), and one for User's password (more or less complex, as you need).
Give/communicate this couple of data to any user that is allowed to use your public Form.
Create an external select list based on this File Cabinet, using these two type of fields.
In your public Forms : add a single text line field that ask for the Password (all others fields masked by a behavior rule).
When password is entered by the user in this first single line text, another single line text field appears to ask the ID (Name/Last Name for example) : you can then use a behavior rule (or a validation rule) to be sure that this couple Password/ID is a real one (= one in your select list or "known" by Docuware). You can also just make your form checking if the password is known (with a behavior or a validation rule) to be more permissive : a lot of options are possibles at this point.
I hope I've been clear enough to explain this tip : it works well for us to protect personal datas we could use in our Forms or Select Lists available in our Public Forms.
