Searching Multiple File Cabinets at Once with Business Server License
This functionality is available with Professional and Enterprise but not Business. It used to be available in Business with the thick client but it has since been removed. The only option is to upgrade the client from Business to Professional but this is expensive for a small client using Business. We recently upgraded a client on Business and they are very upset that the functionality was taken away.

Custom URL for Forms
Currently getting to the Forms is not very convinient as a User.
I would like to have the option to create custom URLs, and not just the default http://FQDN/Docuware/Platform/WebClient/Forms/FORMNAME?orgID=ORGID link. Maybe a little Editbox in the Forms Overview right under the URL field to type a custom URL which redirects to the form so the Users can go with http://FQDN/FORMNAME for example.6 votesThank you for your idea. No consuming of a license to administrate file cabinets
Since the creation and administration of file cabinets has been move from the Admin Tool to the Web Client it now requires the administrator to have and consume a named license. I as a Docuware support person have the responsibility for administrating many customers system. Since the cloud only has named licenses I will need to have a admin user created for all my customers. I would like to see Docuware have an Admin user that would only have access to the web client to administer the Docuware configurations and would not consume a license.

DocuWare administration application and fully qualified domain name (FQDN)
Currently, DocuWare administration application is not able to connect to the DocuWare server if we mention the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the DocuWare server instead of Server IP Address in the Docuware Administration login screen.
We are mentioning the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the DocuWare server because the PC from which the user is accessing Docuware administration application is a part of a different domain than the server.
It would be great if we can mention the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the DocuWare server instead of the IP address in the Docuware Administration login…

Unfortunately, due to several factors we are currently not able to plan this idea for a future version. We are completely concentrating on our web based configurations in the future. And in my opinion, the DocuWare Administration should be able to work already with the name. We use this for our cloud customers. -

Delete Function
Is there anyway we can remove the "Delete from tray" as a choice. If we need to delete a document from the tray we can always right click and choose delete. It is causing problems for us, eighteen indexed documents were deleted and now we have to rescan and index.

Unfortunately, due to several factors we are currently not able to plan this idea for a future version. Document Trays are personal workspaces for users. If you want to prevent deletion, please store the documents to a file cabinet. -

I suggest DW bring Copy & Paste back. We used it alot.
Copy & Paste worked very well for us. It cut out a lot of retyping the same thing over in different fields.

This sounds like a specific configuration issue inside your DocuWare system and the specific process. It might be good to contact you DocuWare administrator or partner to assist you.
If you think it is a general idea for DocuWare you might want to explain this in more detail.

option to chose how many nominal codes to enter
Please can we have an option to count the number of nominal codes we can enter then enter them and carry on instead of having to close down the box before we can carry on. Thanks

Limit Web Basket Access
It would be nice to be able to grant or deny read/write access to the web baskets. Currently, it is either you have access to do everything or no access.
We have users that are required to have access to a common web basket, however, they accidently end up deleting other users documents stored in the web basket. Admin should be able to deny delete access for users. They should be able to view and post documents, but not be able to delete documents from the basket.

Allow for the same value to be searched in multiple fields
Allow for a value e.g. 'Bob Jones' to be searched in multiple fields. Essentially its an OR statement in SQL. Support said that would be a stellar idea to allow for versatile search options. We know we can search multiple cabinets, but to search for multiple fields within a cabinet would be great!
