Have Desktop client check status occasionally of Desktop service and auto-restart it if stopped.
I frequently get tickets from users getting "DocuWare Desktop Service is unavailable". This is almost always caused by the service being stopped for some reason and the user doesn't know how to restart it. Since the Desktop client can't do anything without the service running, it should automatically make sure the service is running every once in awhile.
Thank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Cannot say this one too frequently or loud enough. Our users don't typically report an issue with file storage but find that sometimes the service can be locked or unresponsive for days on end, resulting in tens of thousands of backlogged imports. There are no exceptions logged anywhere and thus no way to even use RPA to monitor for an error in a log file somewhere.
