all fields capitalized
Please bring back the ability to force all fields being capitalized!
This kind of practice of removing features that users have grown to depend on, almost caused a revolt in one of tech sessions at DocuWorld.
Here's an example of what happens when changes aren't thought through completely and/or actual users aren't consulted first:
The select list consists of Townships with only the first letter capitalized. Since upgrading to 6.12 this week, the user must type exactly in the case format of the select list, or they can't store doc.
For instance, typing 'elkhart' brings up 'Elkhart' in the select as it should. But if the user can type fast she will just type 'elkhart' instead of selecting from the select list. Then since the case doesn't match exactly, it won't let her store.
Since many of our customers have depended on All Index fields capitalized, this is causing a lot of frustration and lack of efficiency.
Thank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

It is also rather annoying to see different spellings of the same index entry in the select list, like "Test", "test", "TEST". This just looks messy and unorganized.

I can only agree with the wishes of the colleagues, the customers are completely confused and almost unanimously want to return the capitalization of the index Terms.

And if a document, that has been stored previously when Capitals were forced, is edited and the select list isn't in All Caps the user can't resave the document without changing the field to match the select list.
