Make Emailing a Doc Available Without the Desktop Apps
I install a LOT of DW Desktop Apps only to get the Email a Document function. Would be great to have this made a part of the base web client experience. I would expect that there are probably some pretty good technical considerations to something like this, but would really be great. The web client is just so nice, and adding this functionality would allow a very large group of users to be fully functional with no local installs.
Thanks!
Thank you for your idea.
Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.
Currently browsers do not allow to open an email application with an attachment. That´s why we need a local application to download the document and then attaching the document to the email.

How do I grant access to a Google Doc?
Open a file in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides. In the top right corner, click Share. Click "Get shareable link" in the top right of the "Share with others" box. To choose whether a person can view, comment, or edit the file, click the Down arrow next to "Anyone with the link."Regards,
