  1. When viewing the 'Store' document history, display the cabinet & store dialog that was selected.

    In order to investigate reported issues it's important to know which store dialog a document has been stored with.
    End users don't always have this information.

    Currently the history entry shows 'store', the user who stored it and the date it was stored. Hovering reveals all index entries stored, but does not show the store dialog that was selected nor the cabinet it was stored to.

    Please make this information visible to admins.

  3. Add the ability to see the Bookmarks on the Viewer

    We work with multi-page technical documents that have pre-defined bookmarks to ease the section navigation. The viewer within Docuware doesn't allow for bookmarks to be displayed and users have to surf through 600+ pages in order to find the content. It would be ideal if it could show the contents the same way Adobe Reader does.
    We implemented a workaround where users would download the content and open it in it's native application but it is very inefficient and causes a high level of unnecessary network traffic.

  4. Prompt to save when index entries have been changed

    When using the viewer with index entries, any changes are not saved unless you press the save button.
    If you close the document without pressing the save button you are NOT prompted to "Save Changes".

    This could cause problems for users if they
    1. Open the Document
    2. Change the index entries (but not press save)
    3. Make an annotation on the document
    4. Close the Document
    They would be prompted to “Save Changes” this could be very misleading, as they would think they are saving all changes and not just the annotation.

  5. Open Linked Documents in new viewer by defualt

    Need the ability to have linked documents open in a new viewer by default. I know it is possible to right click and open the linked document in a new viewer but this is inefficient.

  7. Allow Scrolling to "Next Document" on Non-document File Formats

    The Web Client shuts down or displays an error and will not allow scrolling to the next file if a audio or video is stored. This was not the case in the Full Client.

  8. Add option to disable scrolling to the next page

    Add an option to disable the change made to scrolling in 7.10 that automatically changes the viewed page of the document when the user scrolls to either the very top, or bottom of the page.

  9. Save User's Viewer Settings after Browser Close

    In current versions of DocuWare, any settings a user set in the previous session are often reset when the user closes and opens a browser before logging into DocuWare. It would be helpful if there were a way for users to save their zoom level, font settings, etc.

    Anchor Overview panel: The idea is that the anchor view will appear when clicking on the document, maximized, so the user can view all the pages of the document.

  11. Add Collaps Arrow at the vertical divide Bar

    As a user, I would like to collapse the search area or viewer directly. This is especially useful when I use many columns or want to enlarge the document in the viewer. With a Collaps Arrow these areas would be enlarged immediately. This feature is available in many applications e.g. jira.

  12. Global viewer setting

    Great tool for administrators of Cloud instances would be to have an option to setup a global viewer default setting, eg. default viewer setting to open documents with index dialog in new window.

    That way we don't need to educate new users to change this setting manually.

  13. PDFs display blurry in document viewer if Windows scaling is at 150%

    In DocuWare Cloud, PDFs display blurry in document viewer if Windows scaling is at 150%. If changed to 100%, they are clear. If we use the integrated PDF viewer in Chrome or Edge, the PDFs are clear and not blurry. This issue is only on the DocuWare Cloud Document Viewer.

    Created SR around the issue and was advised to submit as an idea.

  14. Enable multiselect or checkbox on search dialog dropdown menu

    It would be usefull to have the option to select multiple values form a select list in search dialog.

    Example:
    - company has 10 Business Entities
    - using only one search dialog we could enable management to search through specific group of entities (eg. 1, 2, 6, 8)

    Idea is to not have 10 different search dialogs locked on each BE.

    Same could be applied to document type field, to filter just one or two, or 5 different types.

    We already have 20+ store dialogs which limit store permissions for specific people based on entity and doc. type.

  15. Enable viewer to show several pages at once

    We have a lot of invoices with 2 or 3 pages. It would therefore be a great time saver if the viewer window would display all 2 or 3 pages at once. After all, there is more than enough grey space for that even if the first page is being displayed in full hight.

  17. Extend filter field width

    We would like to have a wider filter field in the task lisk. As of now only around 20 characters are shown, before the field is cut of with '...'.
    For a better view it would be optimal if the filter is dynamic in width.

  19. column width

    Need the ability to set a default width on columns. I have a Policies and Procedures Search Dialog, which consistently displays only 18 characters of the Policy Name. I'd like to be able to set it at 50 characters.

  20. Allow Custom Zoom %'s When Opening Documents in Docuware

    I would like a function in Docuware to allow each document you open to zoom in to a specific % so it is easily read. It will save countless times of clicking to zoom in only to discover this isn't the document you needed and have to repeat the process again on the next document.
