  1. Active Directory Network ID Adjustability

    Allow admin's to specify user NetworkIDs in the sync settings or change the AD sync to also pull the domain's shortname. Sync worked for us, but it pulled the fully qualified domain name rather than the short domain name. Users were synced and created successfully, but their NetworkID doesn't match the Windows session username which uses the short name of the domain.

  2. Properly format DW Forms page width for mobile devices

    Currently, when a DocuWare form is displayed on a mobile device, the page width is calculated as if the device is held in landscape mode, even though it is being held in portrait mode. This causes the end user to have to scroll to the right to read text or see if the form field has a drop-down list when in portrait mode.

  3. Conditional Required Fields

    Now a field is required or not.
    In our case, HR needs to store a document and can choose to index through NAME, ID, EMPLOYEE ID... but I cannot make all required because it would defeat the idea of efficiency, but they should be allowed to fill AT LEAST 1 of the 3 to be valid.
    Some sort of validation, that would allow only 1 of the 3 required fields to be indexed..??? just ideas...

    By the way, only 1 data field is required for us, since we have autoindex on the back fulfilling the rest of the fields. This…

  4. Show document Count in Baskets by default

    Very simple to show number of documents in each basket by default, instead of having to do a mouseover... in fact it is more interesting to view document count than size.

    Furthermore, a summary with the total size and document count on top of the page would be great!

  6. Add "Basket" as a Document Processing SOURCE.

    Please add the ability to use the basket to send a document to a DOCUMENT PROCESSING configuration.

    This could be easy for the user if it would show like adittional Store dialogs.

    We send all attachments from an email account to a Basket, but those that should go to document processing.. have to be downloaded from the basket and uploaded to a folder..... not efficient.

  7. Add the ability to darken the output from a signature field in a Docuware form

    Add the ability to darken signatures output from the Signature Field element in Docuware Forms. Currently it seems the signatures come out very light when submitted via PC with no ability to darken

  8. AutoIndex document condition preview when running a schedule

    It would be helpful when creating a scheduled Auto Index job if after your conditions were set a query would run to tell you how many documents would be updated. This would prevent accidental updates of mass documents where conditions were not set correctly.

  9. Add refresh button to Autoindex Configuration page to better monitor status

    Add a refresh button to Autoindex Configuration page. On-the-fly updates are not consistent and monitoring for extended period of time. Refreshing web page brings you back to the start of the configurations page.

  10. Ability to change the color of the font and the outlined of the answer field.

    The font answers are to light and hard to read. If would had the ability to change the color of the font it would be easier for end user to read the form.
    Ability to change the color of the outline boxes to show up better again helping end users.

  11. Improved Activation Rules

    The rules for automatic activation of a workflow should allow the adminsitrator to be more specific. Now you can only have AND operators.

    The rule configuration for permissions is perfect, and would love to see more systemwide adoption of it.

    It allows you to be as simple or specific as needed.

  13. Add Portrait and Landscape options on Forms. If the lines are too wide they are compressed to fit into the portrait format.

    Thank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

    But one notice on that: Try using landscape merge forms to receive a document in landscape format.

  14. Number Group Limit

    Setting a number group limit would be nice to keep track of page numbers on a fixed form.

    For example, setting a number group to start at 1, having a limit of 5, would work like this:

    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, ...

  15. Allow Search Dialogs to be configured for select list only

    We currently have an implementation with an external multi-column select list and we have implemented this in several store and search dialogs and we have setup filtering on the columns of the select list in these dialogs. In Store dialogs we have " The user can only use entries from the select list to set the field" option to force users to perform data entry / indexing only using the filtered select list values.   16. Perform identification on every page scanned to dynamically select different processing configurations.

    Improve batch scanning functionality to allow different configurations to be identified without having to perform different scan jobs. We have multiple automatic identification configurations working fantastic but still have to perform each separate configuration as an entirely different scan. We already have these identifying perfectly each time we scan without selecting a configuration. Scan config 1 with multiple separators and index that entire batch at once. Then without changing any scan settings send config 2 batch through and it identifies and splits and index correctly. Why can we not mix the batches together and when it encounters identification page/config 1…

  17. Parrallel conditions

    Amount of activity outputs depends on number of conditions.
    If condition A is fulfilled a certain route is taken etc etc.

    For example. If 10 Document Types needs different actions it would promote efficiency. One does not have to do 10 different condition activities nor do you have to build 10 different workflows.

  18. Ability to Publish Workflows from a Test Environment Directly into Production Environment.

  19. Email Notification Link via Workflow

    Currently Workflow Designer does not allow you to generate the link name from variables with in DW only so the only option is to hardcode it.

    It would be nice to be able to use the filename and a date as the link in the email being received by end users. It gives more meaning that hard coding the word document and then followed by variables

  20. List which Document Processing Configurations have Automatic Identification enabled

    In the Configuration page, when viewing the list of Document Processing Configurations, it would be helpful if there was a column that showed which configurations had Automatic Identification enabled.
