  1. AutoIndex document condition preview when running a schedule

    It would be helpful when creating a scheduled Auto Index job if after your conditions were set a query would run to tell you how many documents would be updated. This would prevent accidental updates of mass documents where conditions were not set correctly.

  2. Add refresh button to Autoindex Configuration page to better monitor status

    Add a refresh button to Autoindex Configuration page. On-the-fly updates are not consistent and monitoring for extended period of time. Refreshing web page brings you back to the start of the configurations page.

  3. Ability to change the color of the font and the outlined of the answer field.

    The font answers are to light and hard to read. If would had the ability to change the color of the font it would be easier for end user to read the form.
    Ability to change the color of the outline boxes to show up better again helping end users.

  4. Improved Activation Rules

    The rules for automatic activation of a workflow should allow the adminsitrator to be more specific. Now you can only have AND operators.

    The rule configuration for permissions is perfect, and would love to see more systemwide adoption of it.

    It allows you to be as simple or specific as needed.

  5. Document Processing - Add more content conditions for the identification and splitting rules

    Ability to have multiple content conditions for identifying and splitting documents with AND & OR operators.

  6. Add Portrait and Landscape options on Forms. If the lines are too wide they are compressed to fit into the portrait format.

    Thank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

    But one notice on that: Try using landscape merge forms to receive a document in landscape format.

  7. Number Group Limit

    Setting a number group limit would be nice to keep track of page numbers on a fixed form.

    For example, setting a number group to start at 1, having a limit of 5, would work like this:

  8. Allow Search Dialogs to be configured for select list only

    We currently have an implementation with an external multi-column select list and we have implemented this in several store and search dialogs and we have setup filtering on the columns of the select list in these dialogs. In Store dialogs we have " The user can only use entries from the select list to set the field" option to force users to perform data entry / indexing only using the filtered select list values. However this option does not exist on the search dialogs so even with the filtering in the dialog configuration a user is provided values in the…

  9. Perform identification on every page scanned to dynamically select different processing configurations.

    Improve batch scanning functionality to allow different configurations to be identified without having to perform different scan jobs. We have multiple automatic identification configurations working fantastic but still have to perform each separate configuration as an entirely different scan. We already have these identifying perfectly each time we scan without selecting a configuration. Scan config 1 with multiple separators and index that entire batch at once. Then without changing any scan settings send config 2 batch through and it identifies and splits and index correctly. Why can we not mix the batches together and when it encounters identification page/config 1…

  10. Parrallel conditions

    Amount of activity outputs depends on number of conditions.
    If condition A is fulfilled a certain route is taken etc etc.

    For example. If 10 Document Types needs different actions it would promote efficiency. One does not have to do 10 different condition activities nor do you have to build 10 different workflows.

  11. Email Notification Link via Workflow

    Currently Workflow Designer does not allow you to generate the link name from variables with in DW only so the only option is to hardcode it.

    It would be nice to be able to use the filename and a date as the link in the email being received by end users. It gives more meaning that hard coding the word document and then followed by variables

  12. List which Document Processing Configurations have Automatic Identification enabled

    In the Configuration page, when viewing the list of Document Processing Configurations, it would be helpful if there was a column that showed which configurations had Automatic Identification enabled.

  13. Allow adhoc input for the AD Attribute I want to Synchronize with the User Sync Tool

    In the Cloud Active Directory Sync tool there are only two choices for what attribute to sync to DW for the user name: sAMAccountName and userPrincipalName and they are hard coded into the tool.

    I suggest that the attribute be a fill in box that allows me to select the attribute that I want to sync much like the on premise one does. I have accounts that use the employeeID attribute to be their DW username so that a filter can be set up for them to only see their document when they log in.

  14. Add a feature to automatically update the xml files in file cabinet to match database changes

    It would be very helpful if .xml files were kept in sync with the DocuWare index database automatically.

    As it stands now, if there is database corruption that exists beyond the timeframe of database backups, any index edits can be lost.

    This feature would also help future upgrades and data moves from having corrupt or missing index data. We recently discovered a file cabinet with database and xml issues. It was caused by some improper handling of past upgrades. The issues could have been minimized by syncing the xml files with the database.

  15. Allow Dynamic date ranges for Document Relations

    Add the ability to add dynamic date ranges in Document Relations. In other words, add the ability to show documents where the store date is within the last 30 days or a custom index field like due date is within the next 30 days.

  16. Notifications to show value of a certain field

    we have the "Show value of this field as a link" option in the message section of a notification.

    I want to be able to add just the value of the field without a link embedded to it.

  18. Have to get back ability to determine total number of documents in a file cabinet.

    First the developers take away the ability to increase the number of documents in a result list. Now we can't even use 'Check FullText Status' to get a total amount of documents in a file cabinet.

    Thankfully we only have 1 customer who uses DocuWare-Online, so at least we can query the database for most of our users.

    When you migrate a customer to the cloud, there is no way to check to make sure if the file cabinets match when done.

  19. WF Steps as templates

    Once I've created a WF step, ex., Task or Assign to, etc., I'd like to copy it and use it as a template for use in later steps in the overall WF. Please add this feature.

  20. I suggest you add a draw box

    Before Docuware we used paper. We had a form that had a space on the back where we could draw a diagram. This was used for maintenance to setup rooms for events so they know where to put tables and things. I tried to use the signature field but making it big caused the form to puke.
