  1. allow us to use different fonts or text colours

    This is a fairly simple idea: allow us to use different fonts or text colours in the decision forms.

    Use case: an invoice that's part of an AP approval workflow fails validation and we'd like the reason for the validation-failure to be in red text to draw the user's attention to it.

  2. Improve connector lines

    Connector lines are impossible to work with and make look logical. They move on their own to mess up the WF when any step is moved or removed. A great model for the designer would be the connector lines in Visio. Please improve the designer with useable, logical and clear connector line composition logic.

  3. Allow selection of location to write temp files for Request container

    When creating Request containers, the files are written to the default temp directory for DocuWare. If the Request cabinet is very large, the C:\ drive can fill up and crash. Need to be able to select an alternate location to write the temp files.

  4. Have server name in admin tool for non admin users.

    For users that don't have access to the system configurations, there is no way to know what server you are connected to once in the admin tool. Client has a test system and production. Yes, they have to type the server name in to connect but they want something, either top bar or bottom bar, to state which server they are connected to. That way if they get distracted, they don't have to log out and then log back in to figure out which one they are connected to.

  5. Forms signature via DW/AD credentials for forms

    Forms signature control that uses DocuWare/AD credentials to confirm the user. This is standard functionality in many eForms systems

  6. Enable horizontal scrolling in Workflow Designer

    Scrolling mechanics natively supported in windows have evolved from vertical-only to include the horizontal dimension. Putting horizontal scrolling to use here would greatly help when working with large workflows -- just as much as vertical scrolling does. Whether using a touchpad with 2-finger drag, or a mouse with a tilt-wheel, navigation becomes much simpler, allowing the user to focus on the workflow itself rather than dragging the scrollbar back and forth.

  7. Make Workflow Designer variables available in text area of stamp

    WFD has a lot of ability to massage index field data that can be re-written to indices. It would be nice to get those values into text fields in WFD stamps. Currently the "Stamps include:" options are a limited number of unalterable data items. It would be great to include WF variables in additional text field(s).

  8. Automate DesktopApp default connection to PlatformRO

    When deploying DWDesktopApp there is a script on the DW FAQ site called "DocuWareXXDesktopAppsSilent_Install.bat". This can be used to automate the deployment of DWDesktopApp. The problem is the portion that directs the creation of the default connection does not work with PlatformRO. You must manually log into your Read Only Platform site and use the "Connect Desktop Apps" option.

    I would be great if customers who purchased RO and SmartConnect could automate the creation of the default connection to PlatformRO as well as have a visual representation in the DesktopApp that showed the app's connection was…

  10. Using the '(ATTACHMENT)' variable in docuware will help a lot to find the proper record

    Hi Team,

    I have an idea that if docuware uses the '(ATTACHMENT)' variable withing the connect to outlook configuration so it will help us a lot to find the proper record in the docuware system. Because in most of the cases we sent proposal/estimate within an organization to a single personal who is in purchase department and he handle all the proposal/estimate related queries so we can't use the current available variable to find the exact proposal number but if '(ATTACHMENT)' variable is available then we can find exactly the estimate number/proposal number using the estimate/proposal name extracting from the…

  11. Allow using a PDF as a public-facing form

    Sometimes, customers want to use the formatting from an externally created form for users to input data into DocuWare, especially if the form is being transferred from print or another web form service. Using an already created PDF, and creating fillable sections similar to what currently exists in the Merge Form menus could help.

    Can we look at offering SFTP instead of unsecured FTP? There are many opportunities where i have sensitive or confidential information contained in .csv files that need to be processed but cannot be due to the lack of security in this area.

  13. Add the ability to trigger workflows and webhooks when a document enters a Document tray

    I would like to have the option of adding a workflow or webhook to document trays. Currently, I can only assign a workflow or a webhook to a file cabinet. I would use this to a) have docuware randomly assign documents to members of a group or b) notify when there are old documents in a doc tray or c) log when documents entered and exited a document tray d) automatically assign additional data to documents in document trays.

  14. Increasing Automatic Intelligent Index fields

    To be able to increase the amount of index that can be automatically indexed when configuring the Intelligent indexing fields. We have a use case where we need 260 index fields but are only able to auto index 14 custom text fields. So wouldn't it be better to be able to increase this amount.

  15. Arithmetic Expression Table Column aggregation

    In DW Version 7.10, only Sum(), Count() and Avg() are supported for aggregation of table field columns.
    For me, that is currently sufficient. However, in several cases I need to create a Sum of the absolute values in a column, but Math.Abs() is only supported for single values and not for a column.

    Example:
    ColumnAmount:
    10,00
    -3,00

    Sum(ColumnAmount) now returns 7. However, the result I need is 13.

    Please provide Math.Abs() and/or similar functions for table column aggregation.

  16. Allow Internal Signee to sign before external Signee in Electronic Signature PreConfigured Solution

    Currently, the configurations in the Electronic Signature PreConfigured Solution does allow for an internal signee to sign by using a second envelope, but the option for the internal signee to go before the external is currently not offered. If there exists an option for the internal signee to sign at all, can the solution be amended to allow the internal signee to sign first?

    We need to be able to retrieve the GUID of a file cabinet thanks to its name to use it after in a webservice call, so th guid of te file cabinet won t be coded per cloud

  20. Automatic identification import job failed to selected inbox

    Use 1 named account for DocuWare Desktop Connection in file server. Got different projects using automatic identification document processing import job, when failed, it will transfer to this 1 named account default inbox.
    Which is undesirable when different group of people involve different projects.

    Should have an option to choose which inbox whenever automatic identification failed.
