  1. WF Steps as templates

    Once I've created a WF step, ex., Task or Assign to, etc., I'd like to copy it and use it as a template for use in later steps in the overall WF. Please add this feature.

  2. I suggest you add a draw box

    Before Docuware we used paper. We had a form that had a space on the back where we could draw a diagram. This was used for maintenance to setup rooms for events so they know where to put tables and things. I tried to use the signature field but making it big caused the form to puke.

  3. Google Analytics OR use of analytics report to track the users

    Hello,

    Our organization uses google analytics for reporting on all our websites and applications. We would like to incorporate DocuWare into this reporting. Is this available already or planned?

  4. Audit Log Program

    I know that you can turn on audit logging for access, delete, edit etc.. of documents, but it is put in notepad files and get overwritten and difficult to search. Would be a great feature to have an application that does this.

  5. An Index Field can be created so that document stored in the file cabinet can be automatically numbered e.g fin-001, fin-002, and next doc.

    I want a situation whereby document given a unique id e.g fin-001, fin-002 should automatically store the next document as fin-003 when an index field is created for this purpose.

  6. Stamp assigned to a user overrides no 'can edit index entries' right

    If a user is not granted 'Can Edit Index Entries' FC right, but is assigned a stamp that changes index fields - this should work, so the user can use the stamp, but still can't edit index entries via info dialog.
    Currently, if user has no 'Can Edit Index Entries' but has 'Apply new stamp' - the stamp can't be applied if it changes indices.

  7. Disabling "Allow Filtering" should not also kill select lists

    In DocuWare 6.9 File Cabinet Search Dialogs, unchecking the "Allow Filtering" option also disables all select lists for that field except for the Standard Select List. Why? When the option is checked in the Admin Tool, it is enabled by default in the DW Web Client. This forces users who use the drop down list to first uncheck the "Filtering" option in the index field while searching in order to select an entry whenever the Standard Select list is not being used.

  8. Add tool to allow use to create their own signatures just like they are able to create their own baskets.

    Allow users to create their own signatures much like they can create their own baskets without having to go through the DocuWare Administrator.

  10. Change the "is different than previous page" Split option to not split if the zone is empty.

    I have had multiple occasions where the first page of a new document has a customer number and the subsequent pages do not. I need a way to say that if the zone has a number in it that is different from the previous, but NOT EMPTY then split before that page. Currently, the “different than previous” option considers a blank zone a new document and this does not work for these scenarios.

  11. More options in "Show User Rights" in admin tool

    It would be nice to see more rights in the "Show User Rights" menu in the admin tool. Examples of desired rights would be Document Trays, Stamps, templates, assigned configurations (user/admin rights)...

    Actual Clients and future clients ask for this on their notifications, because 1 notification make the workflows confusing for them

  13. The automatic storing option must use the store dialog that is assigned per document tray, not the default store dialog as currently

    Using intelligent indexing in three document trays with three store dialogs, each with its own document type, after extracting the indexes per document tray, it must click store automatically to save time with the bulk of bills when storing, but this will use the default store dialog defined in the file cabinet and will not use the store dialog that is already set in the document tray!

  14. Table Field available in Merge Forms

    We would like to have the option of adding Table field from the Form Designer in Merge form. Or the system should be able to use both Web form and Merge form option in case the above request is not possible.

  15. Split and Merge Workflow

    Ability to branch workflow task and then merge them back in the same workflow. Example Lets take an example of travel Request use case. Once the Manager approves. One task should trigger to Travel desk to get the hotel / Flight Booking done and another task to Finance Department to organise Cash. Then the two tasks should get merged and the workflow should continue. We can trigger two separate workflow based on index values and insert a wait but it would be nice and better if we can manage in the same workflow.

  16. Add email Auto Document Processing watch folder processing in the 365 environment like available in non-cloud email environment

    I suggest that the configuration of mail configuration options under configuration allows functionality whereby email watch folder processes for the Outlook 365 environment allow usage of Automatic Document Processing to index then store attachments in File Cabinets.

    Microsoft is forcing the move to Web Outlook / the New Outlook in Office 365 and the current option to utilize the Outlook Email add-in does not have the ability to select Document Processing configurations except when the sample document meets international UBL standard e-Invoice xml formats.

    This limitation prevents the option to use a Document Processing configuration like the one used in…

  19. Workflow Designer : please improve the font selection dialog of the stamps.

    We are having trouble with stamping characters out of frame when using an unsupported font from the font selection dialog in the task's stamp settings.
    This is because the font selection dialog in DocuWare’s workflow designer (especially when configuring stamps in tasks) seems to displays all fonts installed on your operating system.
    We hope you can improve this function by either changing the list of fonts so that only supported fonts can be chosen, or by increasing the types of fonts supported.

  20. Enable selection of dialog fields for pre-filling table columns with remaining amount in Workflow Designer

    Currently, in Workflow Designer, it is possible to pre-fill columns in a dialog table with the remaining amount by referencing a system or index field that holds the total amount. However, it is not possible to use a dialog field for this purpose.
    To improve flexibility and usability — especially for scenarios like account assignment in an incoming invoice workflow — it should be possible to select a dialog field as the source for the total amount. This would allow the remaining amount to be dynamically calculated based on user input at that specific workflow step.
