Dynamic Store Dialog
Ability to change the store dialog dynamically based on the fields. For example the document type. Forms already has some dynamic fields based on others, and is very helpful. This would reduce the need to have many different store dialogs for each type of document.

Change the logo of webclient with the logo of the client´s company
Hello, we need to change the logo of DocuWare on webclient with a customized logo client's mark. We can be change this on OnPremis Docuware but we need to do this on cloud systems. A lot of clients apply for this changes.

Reverse rule
When configuring access rights for users, it would be beneficial with a "reverse rule" where you can reverse the filter. If a document type filter is set, the button "reverse rule" tells if the user should be able see only the type defined, or all other types.

Allow to configure automatic stamps with blackground colour in Workflow Manager
As you can not set an specific location for the automatic stamps in Workflow Manager, sometimes it can be stamped over the text of the document....if you can select a colour for the background of the stamp, at least you can see better the text included in the stamp

Development mode for Workflows
It would be nice to have a switch that would enable/disable notifications of non-controllers for workflows. This would allow the notifications to be put in place during testing and then enabled en masse when rolling the workflow out.
It would be even better if there was a way to redirect all notifications to the Controllers/Admins on a development workflow. That way the workflows can be confirmed as working, without spamming the end users before the workflow is ready.

Stamp Bitmap with Form Field
Currently, if I define a stamp using a bitmap (a nice big angled "Rejected.jpg" image for example), I also want to require the user to specify a rejection reason.
If I do not use a bitmap, I can specify fields. But if I use a bitmap I cannot. This by definition means that I cannot combine a bitmap with a prompt to specify a region.
Please add the ability to use fields with bitmap stamps so that we can prompt users for additional data to go with the stamp.
8 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

DW 6.10 Automatic Numbering - reuse number if cancelled. Allow alpha prefix.
This new feature is great. Thank you, Docuware.
Just couple of things: when the store dialog with AutoNumbering fieldi is envoked, and then the stor operation is cancelled, the number that appeared in the stor dialog is not reused any more - so there is a gap in numbers. Is this an intended behavior or can be it changed so if the store operation is cancelled, that number is still available for the next store.
Since the field with Automatic Numbering is already a text field, would be nice to be allowed to prefix number portion of the field with some…

Allow DocuWare Forms to be submitted to a Document Tray
Currently, DocuWare Forms do not inherit File Cabinet field masks such as a Social Security Number regex validation. If a DocuWare Form could be submitted to a Document Tray instead of a File Cabinet, then I could use the store dialog to enforce the input and finish up the form. There's plenty of other reasons as well.

Ability to remove functions from right-click menu in web basket/document tray
I would like to be able to remove "Store Automatically" from certain users' web basket/tray when right-clicking on a document. Customer needs to have users change index entries when storing, and they don't want any way for the user not to change the entries.

Predefine workflow job that converts DWTIFF (DW5.x and DW4.x) to a new PDF format
If you are dealing with very large documents that we were in DWTIFF format and now you want to bring back to the web basket it take extremely extremely long time to convert to a new PDF format. It works but it will be better if the conversion so done in the server side so that the clients don’t have to suffer
8 votesCurrently there are no plans to have an background job which converts tiff files to PDF. Main reason is, that this could take a long time and bring high load to the Server. On the other side we know that less than 1% of “old” documents are displayed after they are archived (on average).

Improve Administration Tool
Improve the administration tool. First by consolidating all of the different tools and utilities required to administrate Docuware. Create this new Administration tool to where you can do your administration in 1 spot and not in 3 spots on 1 utility and 1 spot on another. 1 location for 1 setting. Inhance the security setting, GROUP,ROLE,PROFILE. TOO MUCH.

Trigger / Start a workflow after updating a table type field
Use case: A table field must be completed by users (by modifying the index) to validate a document.
A workflow is used to check if the table is complete.
The problem is that there is no possibility today to start/ Trigger a workflow based on the update of a table field.

Webhook audit logs
PROBLEM
I have a webhook setup that should be triggered when a doc is created or updated in a file cabinet. The REST API that is receiving the requests from the Docuware webhook is missing some data. I can see the logs of the REST API it looks like some requests from the Docuware webhook didn't get delivered.
The webhook that I'm referring to is not the one inside the workflow.SOLUTION

Web Forms: Auto number to increase when the form is submitted, not opened
The auto number used in a web form increases every time the form is opened, not submitted. I was expecting to be increased every time the form gets submitted, as we use the auto number to identify the form.

Related documents also with table fields
In table fields I can store information on delivery notes, orders, etc..
This information can be duplicated if these are documents from the accounts payable cycle.
For this reason I need to store the number and date of the document to be linked to the invoice.
But it is not possible to create a document relationship config based on a table field.
This would in my opinion be a great functionality to implement.7 votes -
Multi-stage forms
I think it would be helpful if one party could pre-fill part of a form, then another person could finish filling out the form (i.e. office could fill out customer info, then technician onsite could fill in details and submit form).

Index filter hierarchy rights Project > Document
We need project or folder hierarchy rights management.
If user is added to index field on 'project' document that user
should have rights to project documents linked to this 'project' document.This can be configured with free sql statement on index filter rights but requires join statements which are put in where clause so there is a big performance penalty.

allow list-type Role variables to be used as select lists in tasks
When creating a decision as part of a task and adding the various fields to the form, we can tie a select list to a field (for all the usual reasons). However, we can only use the select lists we've configured in the Admin Tool (or configurations). It would be great if we could use lists that we dynamically create as part of the workflow using the new Role variable. This would enable more customization of the workflow decisions, and since we already have the list-type Role global variable it might not be that hard to just allow the usage…

User Productivity Reporting
DocuWare should include some basic reporting for administrative purposes. Our area tracks 40+ users per week to see if they are meeting their scanning requirements. Right now, I do this via the SQL backend and a few queries, but it would be great is I did not have to do this every week. Tracking users via the web interface is not viable when you have so many active daily scan users.
