Lock a Document until a certain date
DocuWare to make it possible for a user to lock individual documents so that they can no longer be edited by other users.
This does not mean simply locking the document while the task is being processed. What would be desirable would be to lock the document until a defined date, for example, so that other users who want to edit the document up to that date receive a notice or message.

You can achive with today right management already in DocuWare by utilizing index value profiles.

Option to disable "Received requests" in My tasks
There should be an option to disable "Received requests" in My tasks. We disabled the option "Send requests" in result lists for users but they still see the button which is useless for them.

Only Show Received Requests Tab When There Are Tasks
Since 7.9, the 'Receive requests" tab shows up even if there are no tasks in it. This is annoying when everyone is trying to keep their Tasks clear.

Remove 'Received Requests' tab from Tasks list.
We want to remove 'Received Requests' tab from Tasks list.
Kindly disable the 'Received Requests' in next update as it is useless for the users.

Add global varible "IncludeReport" in Add new document and Add new Biometric ValidatedID WebService
Add global varible "IncludeReport" to Add new document (Centralized Signature) and Add new Biometric (Biometric Signature) to the web service of ValidatedID
Like the remote signature "Add New Remote Document"

The DW built in REST client supports a http GET, POST, PUT and DELETE. Please add PATCH also.

Sent Requests and Received Requests Tabs
I suggest that the new Sent Requests and Received Requests tabs only display when requests are received. Currently, the tabs display permanently even when there are no requests. Please can you consider applying the same logic to these tabs as you have done with all workflow tabs. Image attached.

Filter Trash Bin
Ability to filter fields to restore documents and display the alias name of user instead internal name

Export Workflow Tasks as CSV file
It would be a great idea if users and controllers can export a CSV data file directly of their workflow tasks. It delay their operations because they most make a search and get a result list for export even they could wrong the filters and get wrong data.

saml
Clients are requesting authentication via alternative methods, e.g. SAML2 and OKTA. Without this DocuWare is not a viable solution for them. Is there an expected timeframe for implementing this?

DocuWare forms user license for DocuWare Cloud
I suggest creating light cloud user license for DocuWare forms, so that customers can create internal forms without the need to make them public. For instance if a customer has 300 employees, 50 of them use DocuWare, and the 250 only use forms to submit requests, we are giving this feature free of charge but exposing the forms to the world, we can charge for small license fee and give customers the option to make their internal forms private and only available for authenticated users.

Change 'send request' defaults
Would be most helpful to change defaults on the Send Request page. For example, we would like to change the following as defaults:
* Subject line text (would save us from editing every single time)
* Text (would save us from editing every single time)
* Decision choice names (we would never use Accept or Reject, but would change it to Completed or Not Completed. (It is a task after all, and tasks get completed in our business).2 votesThank you for your contribution. Your idea is available with version 7.9.

Provide a Recover Deleted Button
I suggest to create a button in which this button should be used to recover accidentally deleted documents for clients and recover deleted button to recover accidentally deleted unbackup other features of DocuWare such as File Cabinet, Document Processing and Document Relations
What this button does once click is:
1) Once click, DocuWare Support Team is notified that accidental action is triggered
2) DocuWare Support Team then simply setup temporary backup folder system that can be used to easily retrieved the lost data back up to either admin or client
This can be easily reduced the cost for the client…

Multiple/Bulk Invoice Approval
We just ugraded Docuware where tables are added to show GL Code, Cost Center, Amount per line item for each invoice. Old version Docuware allowed Approvers to select multiple/bulk invoices to be approved at once.
We need the same functionality to the newly upgraded version of docuware.
1 voteThere has nothing changed for the functionality, if the tasks are the same and can be approved together. Only if the different documents are in different tasks or need different input each, then you cannot approve them together.

Let users hide/show columns in result list
It would be better than having to create new result list with adjusted model view.

Add, Sort, Filter index data columns to tray
Allow us to add and remove columns from the index tray view. Allow us to add, sort and filter by index data columns to locate documents and identify possible duplicates.

Create a dynamic select list with indexes from a file cabinet
I can easily create a select list from a local data connection. However if for whatever reason the local data connection breaks so does the list. Because of that, I have file cabinets set up with nothing but data records to use for lookups in workflows. It would be nice to use those data records for select lists but that isn't an option.

Sound like DocuWare Cloud.
Just create an "External" select list with a database connection. As database connection do not use Local Data Connector but the second connection (with GUID in it, a long character/number combination). Then you can choose from the database tables for all file cabinets. Then just select the table with your file cabinet name. If you do not exactly now which table you can look up the table name in the File Cabinet administration on Tab "General" at the bottom hidden beneth "More options".

Field Behavior function in Forms need ability to autofill fields based on entries in other fields
If a field behavior is true then auto fill other fields on form with fixed text.
For example in an I-9 Form if you choose "U.S. Passport" in the document title field then the Issuing Authority field need to auto populate with "U.S. Department of State"

Allow Arithmetic Expressions in Forms
Allow the use of arithmetic expressions in forms. This would be used to either populate cabinet fields with form fields or work out calculations on the forms. Right now our users are adding in sub fields and manually having to total and also include in field. Would be ideal to have calculation done through form.
