ability to hide or disable 'create data record'
end users are confused easily. I highly recommend adding the ability to hide or disable 'create data record' option in the web client. could be permissions driven or just a check box. I've had many users select this option when they really wanted 'store'.

Thank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

We have multiple workflows break when a customer accidently creates a data record indead of a file. If you could make the viewer stop showing the file when it is not being stored but a data record is.

In the same sense, it is strongly desired to be able to hide the storage dialog boxes dedicated to the creation of forms.

We really need this feature for our customers. Sometimes people forget to select a document and that leads to confusion.

This is an old request, but a common problem with people accidently creating Data Records, and then are confused why they don't have an invoice along with the data. Please review this feature request.

Just had this issue, user created a data record and then couldn't store due because of our duplicate value settings. Voted.

A client of ours would like to be able to disable "Create Data Record" for some users. According to DW support, you cannot disable this feature at the moment with 6.7.
