Calendar Invite for workflow
We have many workflows where the process is sending the date and time of an event in an automated e-mail through workflow manager using the date / time feature. It would be wonderful if we could have the option in workflow designer to generate a calendar invite.

Thank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

I understand the importance of having the option to generate a calendar invite in the workflow designer, especially for automating event notifications. Although DocuWare is not currently planning to implement this feature, I can develop this functionality for you.

We make a web service call to the O365 calendar API to accomplish the sending of invites in our HR workflow.

We would appreciate this feature for the same reasons Damian noted, as it stands calendar invites are near mandatory for processes like this. And the lack of said feature is missed by many customers. Meanwhile competitors offer this feature making it an even tougher pill to swallow.

Hi - I had this request in a meeting yesterday. We were looking into the HR workflow where an email is created inviting the candidate for an interview with a date/time. It would be great if DW could also create an Outlook calendar entry for the person sending the invite.
