Split Shortcut Key Missing!
Since upgrading from 6.1 to 6.6, our indexing department's efficiency is dramatically reduced due to what I would call a tremendous oversight on the part of DocuWare with the removal of critical shortcut keys such as, document splitting.
We receive in excess of 20,000 medical documents per day that require indexing and for our Health Information Technicians to have to move the mouse and click an icon each time they need to split up a 300-page chart note is not only cumbersome, but a health hazard unto itself--think carpal tunnel.
Please tell me this functionality will be returned in the near future?

Official word from the DSS at DocuWare is "I do not have a solution for you."
We asked to program the function back in using the SDK and pay someone out of our own pocket and was told by DocuWare "there are no plans to re-implement the hot key for splitting."
They gave us a 5-point list of why it couldn't be achieved, but the most frustrating of them all was when DocuWare told us the application we were will to pay someone to develop was just a "major task"...like it's an inconvenience. Not the best customer service experience; however, not all I've spoke to have been so dismissive. Robin is and has always been very attentive to our concerns and is always willing to go the extra mile.
We track the metrics of our Health Information Technicians and since the removal of the hotkey, their efficiency is down 32%. To put it another way, if left uncorrected, this loss in productivity put into dollars will exceed the entire cost of our DocuWare implementation within the next two weeks.
We are willing to pay for this feature to be added back, even if we need to hire one of your developers to do it for us on a contractor basis. Please advise.

This is a very important Hot Key function as well as other document navigation Hot keys.
