Link documents manually
Add a function to link manually two or more documents. We have a lot documents from different areas (Finance, Sales, Production etc.) but for the same product (movie trailer etc.). We want to search for the Trailer and want to see all documents about it.
All the documents itself are indexed in docuware. Clipping is not a solution, because all the documents are indexed in the System.

Thank you for your idea. Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

I use a field of type "keywords" which I populate for every document, which is useful to search for a specific topic or keyword across all documents.

Could it solve your problem by adding a “project name” field to each of those documents?

I think manually linking is a good idea. We are currently introducing automatic linking and not very happy about it.
There are several invoices and delivery lists in our file cabinets. Of course there's not only the senders name available but it's the only matching criteria from time to time. The invoice counter can vary from the sending list count, so there's no accurate 1:1-matching possible.
