    Make inline editing of index fields possible in the result and list view in the Web client. So instead of right click > edit index entries, double click on a column of a record and the field becomes editable for filling in a value

  3. Develop a simple ability to place customizable web/link/macro button in the client.

    This would be a button bar or availability that could allow for simple customization. The specific request by our customer (OCDE) is a button they could set a hyperlinnk to an external application they use. All they really want is exactly that. No other integration, just open an application, and at this point not even a sub windows inside DW.

  4. Desktop Apps Import - Import Jobs - Ability to categorize/sort/filter/search

    We have more than 50 import configurations, Some times the import fails, sometimes it stops, it would be nice to display the import jobs by a category, show stopped/failing jobs at the top of the list, being able to sort/filter/search import jobs, (condense the job list), export the job list to CSV for documentation, export the job list for re-import on another pc.

    Add the ability to insert a stored document into an existing email chain. Currently, you have to download the document and save it onto Desktop, then attach it.

    Add ability to notifications (non workflow) to add index metadata to the subject and use an index as a subscriber.

    We will often send documents to clients for review. It would be helpful if we could import the client documents as a new version of an existing document, rather than saving it as a new document.

  11. Connect to Desktop Apps from Configurations page

    If all the user licences are assigned and you need to connect the administration account to desktop apps, you have to reassign a licence and login to the front end, then connect desktops apps and then reassign the licence again. It would be much easier if you could connect the desktop apps from the configuration page.

  12. Create a way to add a DocuWare document to an existing email thread

    When responding to an email, if you want to attach a DocuWare document, you have to save it onto your desktop and then attach it. Can DocuWare be configured to allow for attaching a document in a thread.

  13. Make it possible to revert URL Integration encryption / function requirements

    DocuWare 7.1 introduces a breaking change to URL Integration that login is now only possible with encrypted URL’s. The scope of functionality with this method has also been limited to specific function such as result list, viewer, etc. Several years ago we paid DocuWare Professional Services a significant sum of money to develop a customization with URL Integration that essentially allows customer to be redirected and login to DocuWare Web client using a custom login page. This functionality was dubbed AD Login Customization to the user they simply put in their AD username and password on this custom DocuWare login…

    When pasting form, the clipboard outside DocuWare, it ignores the enter character.
    That it all pastes as one continuous line.

  16. Notifications Message: Provide more than one field for us to set up to show as the value for the link to the document.

    We have a notification set up for whenever a patient submits a form. The index dialog has a First Name, Last Name, Document Date, etc. We don't have any way to uniquely identify this document without being able to show more than one field.

    Unfortunately, DocuWare only provides one field to show as the link to the document.

    We would prefer a way to use multiple fields to show more descriptively what the document is for.

    Is there any way to separate DocuWare from needing to depend on the Windows Message Bus? We are getting so tired of having to constantly needing to clear the message bus for our customers.

  20. Allow schedule of Initiial OCR & Full-text scanning

    We have the ability to schedule full-text re-indexing, but not the initial full-text indexing, or the upfront OCR text shots.

    When multiple documents are stored into a file cabinet at the same time, the initial OCR text-shot creation is killing performance for users. Uploading scans takes 3-5 minutes per document and sometimes times out. This is making the system unusable for the end users.

    Also with workflows that are created to move multiple documents to another file cabinet, the same problem occurs. It seems that it has to recreate the text-shots and also the full-text indexing for the same documents…
