  1. Ability to Add File Cabinet Index Data to an Email Notification's Subject Line

    Currently this can be done in a Notification Task within a Workflow. But for standard non-workflow email notifications, index data can only be added to the body of the email and not the subject line. Due to this it's impossible to accomplish unless the customer has the Workflow module. Would be nice to have this feature available in a standard, non-workflow, email notification configuration.

  2. Allow the admin to reset passwords for users in User Management

    Prior to 7.11 the administrator was able to rese the users' passwords themselves in the User Management tab. This has been changed to only allowing the admin to send password reset emails. Alliowing the admin to change the password is incredibly helpful.

  4. Option to add version on an existing document in a cabinet from the result list

    An option to check-in a new version of the document directly from the result list or an option to make an uploaded document in DocuWare as a version to another document will be an advantage.

    An option like selecting one document from the result list and get a 'Check-In' or 'Update version' function will allow the users to select the new document from the local system and update it as a new version to the selected document.   5. DocuWare Configurations - License List

    Previously in DocuWare Configurations under Product Overview, there was a listing of Licenses with the users assigned to each license and then open licenses where we could assign a new user. That section appears to have been removed now. It appears that only place we can see License information now is under User Management by going into each individual user and clicking on the Licenses tab. Is there another location where we can access a list of licensed users? If not, can an additional column be added to the Users list with a checkbox indicating if the user has a…

  6. DocuWare Mobile & DocuWare Web Client

    A customer came to me today and I have been advised to put it on the user voice to see if it gains any traction.
    Basically they want to restrict the DocuWare Mobile app so that only certain users will be able to retrieve information from the app. This can be done either via cabinet restrictions or user permissions.

    There are some situations, like if there is a guest user account or if there are certain security requirements for users, where restricting access to change usernames, passwords, tool visibility, etc. could be helpful.

  9. Allow the Use of the Sync Configuration with Version Management Enabled

    Currently, there is no way to perform a file cabinet synchronization job if Version Management is enabled. While there is a workaround by using the Transfer config for moving files out of the cabinet, this is an inconvenience to the customer if version management was enabled years ago and the file cabinet is filled with thousands of files.

  11. DW Dsesktop Dependencies need to be upgraded.

    For DW Desktop to work properly, MS visual c++ redist 2010 needs to be installed.
    This product is EoL and EoS from Microsoft years ago. This poses an security risk.
    And larger companies escpesially, do not want to have old outdated components installed.

  12. Further restrict access to Restore documents in Trash Bin

    Please add the ability to restrict access to the Restore button in the Trash Bin. The attached is where I would expect to find this control.

    The following provides guidance when there is access to the Restore button, and to which documents the user may restore. I've summed it up like this, based upon File Cabinet permissions.

    Those who are set as file cabinet Owner may see and Restore all deleted files.
    A file cabinet User (who has delete permissions) may Restore only those documents they have deleted, this means that the Restore button exists.

  15. Request to Fix 422 Error: JSON Field Order Should Not Cause Update Table Field Values to Fail

    I am encountering an issue with the Update Table Field Values REST API. When I change the order of elements in the JSON request body, the API returns a 422 error.Since JSON does not inherently guarantee order, could we request a modification to the implementation?

  17. Rules/Conditions for deleting a document

    Today, a user who has the right to delete a document can delete it whatever the state of the document (its status, its progress in a workflow).

    In addition to custom profiles and restrictions in the Result list functions, it would be very useful to be able to set conditions for deleting a document.

    For example, a document cannot be deleted if its status is "sent to accounting". Or the other way around : a document can only be deleted if it has a status included in "new document" or "to be validated", etc.

  19. Autoindex und Löschregel jährlich ausführen

    Es ist nur möglich monatlich bei der Ausführung auszuwählen, während alle 6 Monate den größten Abstand darstellt. Gerne würde ich bestimmte Jobs nur einmal pro Jahr ausführen. Dafür müsste die Auswahl bitte auf alle 12 Monate erweitert werden.
